HOWEVER knowing the owner of the nets and the gm along with rj. I know that rj is lying and being polite. He told rod thorn after the trade how pissed he was, because Milwaukee was one of the three cities he had asked to not be traded to. He cant do anything about is... but he was lying being traded to Milwaukee was a HUGE reason.

They'll probably have the RJ one on at like 10 in the morning then after 10 minutes cut to Due North Outdoors.

Don't knock Due North Outdoors. That Laura Schara is really hot.

Yes, she is. But still..

As to the Net fan, these guys are professional players getting paid millions. I seriously doubt he cares what city he goes to. He was just shocked he was traded. Once he gets out on the court and hears our great fans he will be fine.

on face value, he seems like a pretty decent guy. glad to have him on the team. if there is any hesitation with wanting to play for the bucks, hopefully that'll disappear once we make the playoffs.

Getting paid a lot hardly means you don't care...I'm sure the vast majority of NBA players wouldn't choose to play in Milwaukee, *all other things being equal. That's just the way it is, but it also doesn't mean they'll refuse to play here if the draft/trades land them in a Bucks' uni. And as we've seen many times, guys usually take a liking to the city once they're here.

I agree with that.

Also, I think the RJ acquisition is a good reason for us not to take Hammond's "we want guys who want to live here year round" comment too seriously anymore.

im not buying it, im pretty good at telling if someone is lying, and he sounded like any other guy that got traded that was not crazy about it. you take some time to collect yourself then say nice things about your old team while trying to say and endear yourself to your new team and thats exactly what he did.
nothing more nothing less.

I don't know what bigs coming off the bench he is talking about, but our bench has absolutely zero quality in bigs. So I would take that quote with a grain of salt. :)

What, now we have NJ fans who have two years of watching Yi and Simmons to look forward to trolling around here?

Adamcz, one really nice thing about this new board software is that you can just click on a poster's name and then see all the posts they have ever made in an easy to read format. It goes back to the database on file of January 1, 2008.

Click on Fasca's posting history and see what you find out.

I can't see historical user posts in FF3.0 or IE7. I could before the site redesign, but right now not so much...

I'm using internet explorer.

Try these two clicks:

a) Click on the poster's name above the avatar on the left
b) On the next screen you should have an html link that says "Seach Users Posts"

Click on that, and they all come up beautifully in chronological order. Very easy to read. No use of the search function needed.

Will that not work for you?

No, in IE I just get sent back to the main board index while in FF it just reloads the profile page. I used to be able to use that feature in the good old days.

Maybe you still have it because you're a mod?

While it's true that RJ always says the right things, I don't think he's ever come out on public and lied on an interview. Yes, he'll say things sarcastically usually. But when he says something, it's usually on point and true.

Yeah this is some BS. Why the hell can't regular users like us check history anymore?

I'm not sure why these features aren't back up.

In any event, here's Fasca's other "insider post" so that Adamcz can judge the accuracy....
