Could the Bucks be the team..........

Post#1 » by FutureBuck2008 » Mon Jul 28, 2008 2:06 pm

with the the deal on the table for PF Josh Smith. I think it might be. They said it was an Eastern Conference team and that it could be a blockbuster. The Bucks have pieces that Atlanta might want and Atlanta has players they would move that the Bucks might interest the Bucks. So maybe....

Bucks get

Mike Bibby
Marvin Williams
Al Horford
Josh Smith
2nd round pick

Hawks get

Mo Williams
Charlie Villanueva
Desmond Mason
Andrew Bogut
Joe Alexander

I think this is a good trade for both teams. Atlanta gets young players and value for Josh Smith and Mason gives them a defensive minded SF off the bench. The Bucks lose a bit in scoring but gain in players who play above average defense, block shot, who bring athleticism.

This will likely get locked, however, the rumors are saying that it is an "Eastern Conference big dog" that has the S/T offer on the table. That would not include the Bucks.

I miss Buck4life.

Ok, one more time. Yes this is the slow time of the year but there are plenty of existing trade threads to post in right now. Please participate in those instead of starting threads like this. TY.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.
