i was kind of expecting to see a bio or something posted, but no. all we have are sarcastic remarks.

there are a few of us that post here that are only casual basketball fans and have no clue who this latest addition is. it would be nice if those of you in the know posters with over 20,000 posts with all of your "insider' info would give us the courtesy of informing us who this latest bucks bench warmer loser is.

I take it he was the leading scorer at vanderbuilt sometime in the past. in the 70s? 80s? 90s? and what position does he play? benchwarmer?

thank you for your attention to this matter. and i still hate US cellular who billed me for the last 2 months after I canceled my service in June. and after the 5th phone call and elevating the problem , they finally admitted they were screwing me over. of course, she had a scapegoat blaming it all on a computer.

I thought he played well in the summer league so I actually thought he might make the roster.

When I want to get some info on a player, I find that if I Google the player's "name" and "NBA", I am directed to the right place. Search "Freije NBA" at Google and they sent me to:

http://www.nba.com/playerfile/matt_frei ... stats.html

Takes less time than asking a question on a forum and then waiting for an answer.

I could say You just got served, but rather, it was you who was serving me.

thanks again

Yeah, I realize all the sarcastic remarks......it's just mind boggling......For one thing, the posters who are making sarcastic remarks about him on here probably never heard of him so that's why they are doing it.

But anyways, back to Matt Freije, who has jointed the Bucks' roster, is a 6-10 forward who played his college w/ the Vanderbilt Commodores and was mainly a 3-point shooter/scorer, but also has an ability to be a hard nosed/hustle/set screen kind of player, which Skiles will seem to like, plus some shot blocking skills.....his defense seems to be adequate enough, so I think he is a decent pickup for the Bucks.

Freije was selected by the Miami Heat in the 2nd round 53rd pick overall......has also played w/ the Atlanta Hawks and NO Hornets.....He is only 26, and while maybe he hasn't done much scoring yet in the NBA (mainly due to lack of PT), I think he can be a like a Jason Kapono but better in terms of defense and doing other things to help........So before you criticize and make "sarcastic remarks", did you even "hear" of Kapono before he was a 3-point specialist????......Probably not.....So Freije could be that type of guy for the Bucks and become at least a solid NBA player.

Freije sucks. I doubt he even makes the team and if we have to play him, we're screwed. That's not sarcastic, it's the truth.

And how do you know Trwi??.....Have you seen Freije play at Vanderbilt or at the NBA level??.....Do you evaluate his skills now??.....You probably know nothing about Freije at all.....so you have no real reason to judge him.

There is no way this guy makes the team. As already mentioned, we have a full roster right now. He's just brought in for camp. Oh, and FutureBuck hyping up a fringe NBA player? I'm stun!

No, and neither has anybody else. There's a reason for that. He sucks.

And you ReddBogut guarantee that the Bucks will intend to keep their roster??......The Bucks still are in need of a "true" hard nosed rebounding/defender type who can maybe score around the basket such as Tyrone Hill, when the Bucks acquired him along with Terrell Brandon in the Vin Baker deal.

The Bucks have 4 PG's right now with Ridnour, Sessions, Lue, and Damon Jones........with maybe 5 if they intend to keep Kruger.....which would be a solid move and a certain possibility.....Jones could be used as trade bait, but even Sessions has a "chance" of being trade bait, if they get the inside "defensive" banger they sorely lack......and then Redd is certainly trade bait along with Charlie Bell, Dan Gadzuric, Villanueva, and Bogut, whom many claim WON'T be traded, but still could end up being traded if they get other pieces for the current Bucks and for the future.

No one is essentially guaranteed a roster spot, but Hammond seems to want to bring competition in to see who will give the best opportunity to win games for the Bucks.....So you're saying that the Bucks won't make any moves and that they will stay put seems to be nonsense.....I think Joe Alexander could even be traded, because even though they selected him, I'm sure it was for depth factor for a trade down the road......as there probably some or certain teams high or interested in him and might have something we need.

Freije does NOT suck though.....I realize you wouldn't say he sucked if maybe he was a bigger name or a proven player now would you???........but Freije has the opportunity to be a solid player and gets a chance w/ the Bucks.......so maybe do some research and actually observe how he plays before you start criticzing........nobody thought Royal Ivey would be even as solid as he was last year for the Bucks.......could be a REPEAT......or Brad Lohaus, Frank Brickowski, Danny Schayes, Zaza Pachulia, etc.....and what I mean is they might have been lesser known players but proved that they were more like "key role" or "solid" type players.

No.

Teams always bring in camp bodies, this isnt some super secret weapon that Hammond found in Frito Lay.
Also, take into consideration the guaranteed money contracts arent going to lose a roster spot to a NG camp body. (I assume this is a NG contract, but I dont care enough to even look into it.)

You're wrong, Doll boy is right.

thought Royal Ivey would be even as solid as he was last year for the Bucks

Very loose definition of the word "solid" there.

A Pf that can't rebound and has had minor experience at the NBA level.

Matt Freije, Matt Bullard, Brad Lohaus. The last two are pretty much what Matt would be at his best.
