Redd's trade value will increase on its own as the time left on his contract goes down. There is also a good chance that Skiles gets more out of him and a generally improved bucks team reflects better on him in general too.

The proposed Cavs deal is about as bad of one as we could make. We'd get even less than we got for Mo, and once again we'd be hooking up a division rival we may have to play in the playoffs. Considering our salary situation isn't so bad until Bogut's extension kicks in, why not give Redd a go this season and see if his value increases more than that?

Now with all that said, I definitely think Redd will be traded within the next few seasons. I just don't think his ocntract or his attitude are that serious of problems where we'd essentially give him away like that.
