I don't care how dry it is 115 is HOT! I remember my niece telling me that she used to have to bring an extra set of clothes to work because the AC in her car broke and she would have to wash-up and change clothes when she got to work. But to each his own.......

A dry heat at 95-100 is perfect. But at 115, like you said, 115 is 115. I've played a lot of golf in Arizona and San Diego. And I don't sweat a drop when it's 100 or less. It's extremely comfortable.

Yes 115 is HOT! But when your still un-thawing from your days in Wisconsin its not all that bad. 8-)
As for your niece and the AC breaking in her car...I feel for her. You need a working AC in your car during the very hot months...heck even now. But if your car is parked out in the sun for any period of time it probably gets up to 200 degrees inside that car.

I'm quite sure that in the next couple of years we will be heading down there in the winter for a visit, as they just had twins and we haven't seen them yet. Obviously her and her husband (both from WI) like it there as they never left after college. It's not for me though. But hey, if we were all alike, I'd have nobody to visit in January........

I'll take heat over cold any day.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

i moved from milwaukee down to the southeast coast in the middle of winter a year and a half ago--i was just done. the winter is depressing. this is wonderful. it's more or less fall right now, a chill in the air but light sweater weather. you do acclimate though--when i would visit here for Christmas before it would be barely 50 degrees and i'd be wearing t-shirts and smiling while everyone else trudged around in coats and mittens. i woke up yesterday, it was 50 and i nearly ran to take a hot shower. anyone who hates the cold in wisconsin is free to leave anytime--i have no idea why it took me 25 years to figure that out.

115 is also pretty rare.

Tucson is a great town. Lots to see and easy to navigate. Phoenix is like LA minus anything good about LA. Tucson actually has character and isn't just an endless stream of suburbs with cutesy names like Surprise and Paradise Valley.

Also, U of A is greater than ASU.

I don't what you guys are whinging about, in Sydney we just suffered through one of our coldest winters in living memories... at times we went 3 days without having clear, sunny skies over the harbour and some days it even didn't get much above 10ºC/50ºF! brrrrrrrrr ;)

Freezes at 0, boils at 100. Now that's some damn fine logic if you ask me. Metric > imperial.

Celsius even offers something for twirly- on the top of Mount Everest water boils at 69!

I absolutely hate living in Wisconsin

Fall sucks ass

Winter is pure hell

Spring is tolerable, but still not very enjoyable

Summer is glorious, but only three months of it is way to short

I'm so envious of people who live in warm weather areas except maybe places where oppressive humidity is the norm. That's still gotta be better though than living in a state like Wisconsin where the weather sucks for roughly 8 months a year.

Stop your hippie garbage. Water freezes at 32 and boils at 212 and that's the way we likes it.
