Your Favorite Players
Everyone has favorites. Who are the players you root for in the NBA, the guys you pay special attention to when watching games or reading box-scores? Maybe you liked them in college, share some kind of personal connection or just really admire the way they play. Who is on everyone's 15 man roster of current (non-Buck) favorites in the NBA?
Here's my squad
Devin Harris, Beno Udrih
Brandon Roy, Ronnie Brewer, Roger Mason Jr
Danny Granger, Jeff Green, Steve Novak
David West, Linas Kleiza, Jason Maxiell
Al Horford, Luis Scola, Ike Diogu, Adonal Foyle
Stephen Jackson is the last guy cut.

Re: Your Favorite Players
1 through 15 are all Ersan Ilyasova.
Honestly, besides guys on my fantasy team, I have no non-Bucks that I root for. Hell, I don't really like any of the players that the Bucks currently have except The Prince, and a soft spot for Luke Ridnour.
I guess I'm happy when Caron Butler does well because I went to high school with him, but I don't really pay much attention unless the Wiz are on TNT or playing the Bucks.

Re: Your Favorite Players
I have had the great pleasure of watching my only favorite player on my team for the last 5 years... Whether he stays, or leaves in two years, five years or ten years or whenever ? this has been a lot of fun to watch in person or on TV night in and night out for the last several seasons...

Re: Your Favorite Players
I always root for Caron as well. For me it was tough to whittle my list down to 15. Caron Butler, Stephen Jackson, Deron WIlliams and D-Wade are all guys I really like to watch play. Shaq probably makes me laugh more than anyone so he was tough to leave off.

Re: Your Favorite Players
i dont really like anyone from other teams , beleive it or not im a die hard bucks fan..
I like all the bucks , but really dont care to much for redd and cv ..It has nothing to do with anything other then i simply dont like the effort ive seen them give this orginization since theyve been here . And redd especialy , because i do remember when he was an effort player .
If i had to pick a favorite it would be Bogut , i do appreciate his effort . I think hes a good fit here , hes the right kind of guy in regards of personality for this state . Im extremely critical of him however as i try to stay away from bias . As much as i like bogut this year is big for him . He needs to step up in a big way . I think hes an underated rebounder , and underated defender . but the critisims of him scoring are legit . Its time he showed he can play like he did in the second half of the season night in and night out . He can not have 20 touch games that result in 4 pts , it just cant happen .. Hes got to come prepared to bang down there everytnight , if hes not up to the task then ..well ..i dont know what to say ..trade his ass .

Re: Your Favorite Players
On the Bucks I am a big fan of Bogut and Ridnour. Around the league my favorite is Allen Iverson, he has a bad reputation but that little guy can hoop and puts on a good show. Other top tier guys I enjoy watching are Steve Nash, Deron Williams, David West and Rasheed Wallace. Other guys I like are TJ Ford, Joel Przybilla, Darko, Kwame Brown and Joe Smith.

My favorite player is Andrew Bogut. Luc Richard is going to be if he continues his upward progression.
In the NBA overall my favorite player is...Bogut.

PG: Nash/Ford/Paul/D.Williams
SG: Wade/Redd
SF: ?
PF: Duncan/Garnett/Bosh/Stoudamire
C: Yao/Howard/Bogut
I don't really have a favorite SF. LeBron is an incredible player but I wouldn't say he's a favorite. There are plenty of very good ones but I can't say there's anybody playing the position right now who I am a huge fan of.

Re: Your Favorite Players
LRMAM, Bogut, hopefully Ridnour and hopefully RJ and hopefully Sessions give me reasons to like them this year (reasons beyond being Bucks, that is).
I'm a huge Tim Duncan guy, and whoever is on my fantasy team.
Some guys I follow randomly solely because of my championship fantasy team last year. ; )
(Rudy Gay, Aldridge, Gasol, etc.)

I had Mo on my team last year and he helped me win my league title. Maybe that makes me a huge fan of him too.

I tend to follow just about any notable player stat-wise for Fantasy, but I love seeing these guys do well regardless.

Jeff Foster and Chuck Hayes. I like the guys who get possessions and don't make mistakes. Do well without style points.

Re: Your Favorite Players
Seriously, kill something... for Jeff Foster?
Though I agree with epi. Chuck Hayes is a guy we should have targeted this summer. With the addition of Artest and resigning Landry he became somewhat redundant and perhaps could have been had on the cheap. His rebounding and toughness would have been welcomed.

Re: Your Favorite Players
Favorite Bucks player is Bogut although I think The Prince might challenge him if he keeps going, quite like Ridnour and RJ also.
Non Bucks.
PG - Kidd, Nash, Deron
SG - Manu, Ray Allen, Miller (when he hasn't got lady hair)
SF - Battier, Butler
PF - Duncan, KG
C - Horford, Chandler
Favorite players in order would be -
1a. Bogut
1b. Kidd
2. Duncan
3. Manu
