Who has the bad contracts?

Post#1 » by pilprin » Mon Jan 26, 2009 3:08 pm

I apologize if this is posted somewhere, but other than Gadzuric, who on the Bucks has bad contracts that we would like to unload? Bell? RJ?

Can CV and Gadz be packaged or Sessions and Gadz? Or is Gadz contract that bad?

Feel free to move this if there is a better thread.

Redd
Jefferson
Gadzuric
Bell

I'd even argue Allen and Elson, because giving those guys a 2nd year player option is a joke.

I don't think Allen are Elson are bad, they each are owed less than $2 per year.

Lue makes $2.5 year, I consider that a bad contract.

And yes, I think there'd be a team out there interested in Sessions/Gadz.

Those guys shouldn't be getting anything less than minimum salary deals or one-year deals, because they are replacement level. Lue's is too high but he's at least expiring right now, I don't considering any expiring contract a bad one because they can be used as trade value at least.

Elson is fine. As we saw Saturday night, the dude can play in certain instances and I think he's gotten more effective as he gets more regular playing time with Bogut out. I'm glad we've got him for one more year.

Gadz, Bell and RJ are the problems. That's why if we send RJ off to Portland for a bag of chips, I'd like to make them take Bell also.
