The Red Wings found out Sunday they'll be without forward Johan Franzen for 3-to-4 weeks because of a sprained right knee.
Franzen had an MRI done Sunday which showed a Grade 2 sprain. He injured the knee Saturday in Chicago when Blackhawks center Tuomo Ruutu fell into Franzen after getting tripped by Pavel Datsyuk.
This sucks. Apparantly we wont call up Grigorenko, we will play either Ellis or Downey.
