Welcome to the Kings Board

Post#1 » by Danny Darko » Sat Oct 13, 2007 5:47 am

Welcome all.

The Kings Board is now open for discussion and poster enrollment. Feel free to lurk and read the articles and info or post.

There's a postitive feeling about a young promising Kings Team & ther is a lot of loose ends to discuss.

So- a few quick items of business before I get to hockey just to make sure nobody gets put in the sin bin for misconduct-

Terms of service can be found here for RealGM: http://www.realgm.com/src_board_rules.php

Mas and I are here to help with problems you might have or questions, so feel free to PM us if you have questions or issues.

Game on

I'm gonna be try and be active around these parts, since I love LA so much..
However, that being said: Canucks are gonna kick it tonight!! (though there is a slight chance they may lose :D)

We look pretty good when our goaltending holds up. The young forwards and centers are super young and super good. We have a top 2 goal scorer wing, and an elite 6'4" center(Kopitar) that has old school Adam Oates passing abilities and sick juke moves.

We have one of the best Defensive prospects to come out in a long long time and he's got the potential to do some Rob Blake things. Blake is on the team teaching the kids and we have a stud 19 year old goalie waiting in the wings.

Future is bright for the Kings and the present is pretty competitive, high scoring, and fun to watch.

Honestly, I took some time off as a fan when the league squabbled and called off play, but I'm stoked with the rule changes and team we have.

Sup CC. So, this is like your own public PM box but you also talk about hockey aye?

Don't ask me much about the Kings. If you asked me who plays, I probably just say Wayne Gretsky.

+1

but when my Dad was into hockey he went to a few Kings games... so, if I had to follow a team, it would be the Kings

You'll see me around here occationally as I start to dive into this sport a bit more. :D

Awesome... good to see you guys. I just hooked up a serious article writer for the kings, so it's like having an emplay here only he knows what he's talking about.

Spicoli77 threads are what to read if you want to learn about the Kings.

Russia are the world champions ! I'm happy for them !

Kovalchuk has never had such a game for the national team.
Look for a huge improvement in russian hockey in the next 10 years or so.

Is Sasha Ovechkin the most paid player in NHL at the moment ?
