What's going on in Montreal?

Post#1 » by timd1218 » Fri Feb 20, 2009 4:06 am

I have been hearing rumors that some players on Montreal are going to be getting arrested when they return back to Montreal tonight from Pittsburgh.

Anyone here know what is going on?

I've heard the rumor is a sex crime on a minor. Not sure how accurate that is.

Geez. If Price and Komisarik are a part of it, Montreal is screwed, big time.

I highly doubt Komi and Price would be so stupid, but some others on the team... never know. It'll be revealed by 2am, so Habs fans need to hold on tight for the ride. There's a lot of speculation out there, but this is rly going to hurt our 100th year anniversary.

I really hope this isn't too serious. Not only would something big hurt Montreal, but it would also hurt hockey all together. Montreal is the most storied franchise in all sports.

Internet rumors saying it could involve the hit and run that killed someone a few nights ago in Montreal.

There are so many rumours flying around right now about it all I don't know what to believe. However, I have a feeling it has to do with a certain white powder...

If this does just involve coke, I know it's bad, but they are making way to big of a deal about this. Do it privately and get the people help who are having this problem.

And if this is the case, I could definitely see why Vinny L. wouldn't want to go to Montreal.

Lol, you know what is hilarious is that I have a bunch of friends in Ottawa that party with some of the Sens... apparently they've seen Spezza and some others knocking back coke so... if coke IS the big story, then lets bust open the whole league and not just Habs players.

And if that is the case with these players, where are their teammates and management? That is terrible.

*shrug* everyone likes to keep their hands clean, and are all content with the millions in their pockets. Is the Sportsnet news going to be on tv or online?

CKAC said they should be able to announce everything at 2am est. Can't do it because of legal reasons but they said there will be arrests. This sucks. I have to work at 8 am but I can't go to bed now.

I know, I have to drive into Montreal tomorrow morning with my dad to pick up our Van at the Ford dealership :/ it's 1.5 hours away, but our transmission blew out... good times. However, I can't go to sleep at all because of it. On another Habs board that I frequent, there was something posted... apparently the arrests are to be made on the following counts:

Drugs and Rape

He is saying that his source is in the Montreal Police Department.

I truly hope he is lying, or else we're in for a s@&t storm.

Wow. That is bad news.

For your sake, I hope Price isn't involved.

So apparently this "Big News" is that the K brothers and Hammer have been frequenting a club known to be owned by drug dealers and pimping.

A quote from another board:
Both Kost bros and Hamrlik suspected involvment with gangs-mob dude ... Mangiola. He had their credit card #'s and financial information. Helped Kost bros integrate into MTL life... bla, bla....

Bad but not nearly as bad as I thought. I hope that's where it ends!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
