Interesting Fact: Inbounding the ball on that play is Andrew Henke, who made SportsCenter's Top 10 (#2) last night with the assist to Air Force's buzzer beater.

I got to go to the game tonight, courtside and all that. Great game, some good things to build on, but in the end, moral victories count for squat.

Random observations:

- Gordon is at least 6'4", more than likely 6'5".

- D.J. White is good, but he doesn't seem to realize how good he could be (Dan Coleman and Damian Johnson also suffer from this).

- Tollackson is frustrating. He seems to want to put forth balls to the wall effort, but not really know what it takes. It doesn't help that he's a below average athlete as well.

- Tubby doesn't seem to like Jonathan Williams.

- Gordon had an off night, but he still looked impressive in spurts. Very shifty, if he hadn't been rendered passive by foul trouble he probably would hae given the Gophers fits.

- I don't miss Monson at all.

- Tubby's awesome.
"A while back,'' Cardinal said, "I took a picture of the standings and texted it to Love, just to bust his chops,'' Cardinal said. "He sent me a picture back of a snowdrift.''

Gophers give a nice effort on defense. Young teams listen to big name coaches. Wolves should take notice.

When I heard Tubby was hired by Minnesota part of me hoped it was the wolves.

On Gameday just now, the 3 guys played buy or sell for the NCAA touirnament. When we came up, 2 of the 3 guys bought us. One guy said how we shouldve beaten MSU and that he thinks we will this week. Bilas was the guy who sold. He says we still need to work on fundamentals.
