Both KAT and Naz are 50-40-90, with over a quarter of the season played!

50-40-90 is the standard for great shooters.

I missed the game what’s this comment about?

Last game Jaden bruised his tailbone. Tonight he shot a buzzer beater (shot clock,) and fell afterwards. It wasn’t a huge fall or anything, but he was a little slow to get up, and keeping a hand on his lower back. He tried to tough it out but ended up getting pulled. He came out to start the 3rd but was clearly not quite right. Gets pulled again, this time it is announced he is out for the game. I forget the anatomy of the injury, but basically low back bruise.

Well that sucks, the season is soo long though. I just want us to be healthy and peaking in May and June.

I think he will be fine in a week. I agree, May/June is what matters. Also, we gave both Mike and Rudy a short night tonight so that was good. Kyle had 10 Assists. He said after the game he identifies himself as PG, and is always most comfortable at PG.

It’s incredibly difficult. Only nine NBA players have ever done it.

Larry Bird, Mark Price, Reggie Miller, Steve Nash, Dirk, Steph, Brogdon, Durant, Kyrie

KAT and Naz are the only two players this year on that pace.

Of that group who's done in the most times and who's done it more than once?

Fun fact is that José Calderón missed being admitted into this club by five free-throw attempts (the cutoff is 125 free-throws) during his 2007-08 season in Toronto. He came close a couple other times. In 2008-09, José Calderón missed the FG% threshold by .3% in a season that he shot an absurd 98.1% from the free-throw line (on 2.3 attempts per game!). In 2012-13, José Calderón missed the threshold on FG% by .9% (and 45 free-throw attempts) in a season where he shot a blazing 46.1% from behind the arc.

So it’s been done 14 times in 43 years.

That’s not a “standard”, it’s making history.

Thanks. When I think 50-40-90 Nash is the first name that comes to mind.

The standard does not mean it's standard for a player to get it. Another meaning of the word.

“The standard” is another way to make that distinction. The English language is full of those weird little dual meaning terms :(.
