If you want to do it that way, I'll fix the rookies, these numbers have the %20 raise in them, that isn't their real cap hold at the moment.

Guaranteed;
Kevin Love - $14,693,906
Derrick Williams - $5,016,960
Jose Juan Barea - $4,687,000
Luke Ridnour - $4,320,000
Ricky Rubio - $3,678,358
Alexey Shved - $3,066,667
Dante Cunningham - $2,180,000
Shabazz Muhammad - $1,572,600 ($1,887,120)
Gorgui Dieng - $1,127,200 ($1,352,640)
Chris Johnson - $916,099
Total: $41,258,790

Un-Guaranteed;
Greg Stiemsma - $2,690,875
Mickael Gelabale - $916,099
Total: $3,606,974

Signed;
Kevin Martin $7,000,000 (?)
Chase Budinger - $5,150,000
Total: $12,150,000

Cap Holds;
Andrei Kirilenko - $11,735,219 (120% of previous salary)
Nikola Pekovic - $8,816,000 (190% of previous salary)
Total: $20,551,219

Current Depth Chart
Rubio / Barea / Ridnour
Martin/ Shved
Budinger / Muhammad / Gelabale
Love / Cunningham / Williams
Stiemsma / Dieng / Johnson

Nice to see us targeting Martin. For 7 a year we are not overpaying him.
The contract is a little longer than expected but agening could not be bad since kmart never relied his game in athleticism.

We should be trading ridnour/barea & dwill for 2nd rounders and offer ak some like 21/3.

How do you sign Martin, when Budinger put ya'all over the cap?

Renouncing the rights to the following:

Greg Stiemsma - $2,690,875
Mickael Gelabale - $916,099
Andrei Kirilenko - $11,735,219

Still puts the team right @ the Salary Cap.

I can not imagine the rights to Pekovic were renounced

Because no one is officially signed yet. Martin signs his contract first, we have Bird rights to Bud which allow us to go over the cap to sign him, same for Pekovic. Also if we can get OKC to agree to a S&T for Martin we would be able to do all this and still have the MLE to go get another player(s)

Right now what I'm hearing is either Ridnour or Barea along with Stiemsma. Stiemsma would be released right away and it'd probably be Ridnour as OKC isn't sure about Barea's 2nd year. But basically from what I've heard is that if they agree to this it gives us a chance to retain AK47 which in theory could keep him away from San Antonio which would be a big plus for them. I actually think that if we pulled this off I don't think we'd go after AK as I think we'd look for a cheaper option but I guess it just depends upon what Ak47 really wants money wise. He's already said he'd rather start than take less money and have to come off the bench for a contender so there is always that working in our favor.

Ridnour is a ex-Sonic's player so he would make some sense, since he was only traded as a salary cap dump. But, the Thunder would go into the Lux Tax if they acquired either Ridnour or Barea with Stiemsma being cut. I think Barea might make a little more sense for the Thunder.

Honestly I wouldn't care who we moved(between Ridnour & Barea) to make the S&T work out as it'd give us the MLE which at this point would be HUGE and with the team in place you have to think it'd be easier to target another higher profile FA with a cheaper contract since we'd definitely be a playoff team if we can stay healthy.

I'd be careful. The numbers looks OK right now, but hoopsworld has messed up salaries so badly in the past that for five years I have campaigned for people to lose there salary links (same with hoopshype), and use sham, storyteller, or wyn.

I'd use them for now - but I wouldn't take them for gospel.

I imagine they would off-load Ridnour or Barea to a third team for cap space and an asset, like cash or a cheap prospect/2nd round pick.

Do you have an updated link for Wyn? I'm still on his 2012-2013 spreadsheet, and his is always my favorite. Thanks!

Flip isn't our coach, so he can't dictate what position players play at, he can only sign/trade/cut players and give his advice.

Ultimately, everything the players do on the court is Adelman's choice.

I htink that was more trying to sell him as a SF to increase his trade value.

Wyn doesn't have a new one up yet, probably waiting for the 10th.
I don't trust hoopsworld at all, they screw up stuff constantly... they may be right this time, maybe not.
Nothing from Sham yet either.
