Weren't there interviews throughout the summer league with Wolves staff saying he's kept weight off since he's been injured? He must have weighed more than 270 last season. I don't see how that's possible though, I've always though he was around 255.

That 270 number has to be wrong. David Kahn was saying a month ago that Jefferson was losing weight and made it sound like he was looking better than last year already. Obviously not conditioning, and leg strength is probably down, but his upper body strength and core strength is improved. That's what I gathered out of it, anyways.

I didnt even think about Al being in a wheelchair. It could be like the youtube video's of people jumping out of pools. Dunk out of a wheelchair, Top that BJ Penn!!!

The Duluth sports radio station had part of an interview with JB Bickerstaff on this morning. He says Al is recovering well and is now able to do some work "on the floor". He didn't say anything about wheelchairs or crawling, so I assume he is able to do some work "on the floor" while standing or moving around.

If he comes back with a left hand, he'll be damn near unstoppable...

*insert star wars joke*

i'm salavating at the thought of Al having another move, doesn't matter what it is, hell he'd be unstoppable with a 3pt shot.

I'm salivating at the thought of Al making crisp passes off the double team

well, he has gotten a little less terrible at passing out of the double team...the same can't be said for his left hand as far as what we've seen.

I think he's just not tall/explosive enough to pass out of the double team. Whole point of a double team is to take away your x axis so you have to go over it one way or another. Duncan, KG, D12 can use some combination of length and vertical explosion to get over the top of hands and pass it off, but Big Al always looks kinda trapped down there when they come at him

Seems like he could work on anticipating the double team and passing out before he gets trapped then, no?

If Big Al can focus on getting to the line and using more energy on def then he is a stud. But we all know that.
