More issues for immature DeMarcus Cousins. Per @mr_jasonjones, Paul Westphal boots Cousins from practice. Westphal does not say why.

Rest of the league is not surprised. Some execs/scouts torched Cousins to me recently. Said one: “I wouldn’t want to coach him."

Honestly, Baron Davis is done these days. Forget about him. Even in his NOH, GSW days he was always an inefficient scorer. Now it has gotten even worse. Seriously, if I was a Clippers coach I would just try to get the max out of Bledsoe and forget about Baron.

Anyway, I'm kinda glad that Miami is sucking balls right now.

As much as I don't like the Heat, I don't want to rip on them too much because we've got a lot of cool Heat posters here. Think they'd mind if I just ripped on LBJ?

I think Memphis is very underrated. I wouldn't be surprised if they make the playoffs especially when teams like Portland, Denver, and Phoenix have such big question marks. That by the way would result in Minnesota getting the Memphis pick in 2011.

I picked Memphis in the playoffs. Might be worth bumping the western conference predictions thread to get an update.

I don't think I restated it here, but on the general board I picked the Clippers for fewest wins in the league. Looks like a possibility.

Turner has scored 7 points in his last four games shooting 2-14 in that time. Truly abysmal.

Gay with six blocks and best of all, Marc beat his brother LOL!

Rudy is a better player than I thought he was it seems and I always thought he was good.

Yea man that is surprising. Imagine if we had won the 2nd pick, drafted Turner and he wound up being a bust. You know how devastated we would be? LOL. Not declaring him a bust or anything but that would be tragically typical for us wolves fans.

It's interesting that Evans' numbers this year are about equal to Flynn's last year.

According to ESPN, we've had the 22nd hardest schedule in the NBA so far.

What's interesting is the Lakers have had the 28th hardest schedule and they've still dropped their last 3.

Durant's out for the Thunder, so Green and Westbrook combine for 75 points to get the win. Unbelievable.

LAC is beating the Spurs, who have the best record in the NBA. I think we might just finish the season with the worst record.

it's still early and our schedule has been brutal. Plus we are missing 2 major contributors to our team. Once they get back we won't see Bassy and we won't see Ellington/Brewer.

Plus the Spurs will still beat the Clippers. It's the Clippers they'll find a way to lose just like we always find ways to lose.

Our schedule wasn't thaaaat bad. ESPN compared the records and showed that ours was the 22nd hardest in the NBA. Not that LAC is the only team we have to worry about, but LAC has the 3rd hardest and they've just beaten San Antonio. LAC is also going to be getting Kaman back. We might be able to leapfrog a few teams though, but I'm not sure who.

Well, here's our schedule so far:

October
Wed 27 vs Sacramento L 116-117
Fri 29 vs Milwaukee W 96-85
Sat 30 @ Memphis L 89-109
November
Tue 02 @ Miami L 97-129
Wed 03 @ Orlando L 86-128
Fri 05 vs Atlanta L 103-113
Sun 07 @ Houston L 94-120
Tue 09 @ LA Lakers L 94-99
Wed 10 @ Sacramento W 98-89
Fri 12 vs New York W 112-103
Sun 14 @ Atlanta L 105-111
Mon 15 @ Charlotte L 110-113
Wed 17 vs LA Clippers W 113-111
Fri 19 vs LA Lakers L 95-112
Mon 22 @ Oklahoma City L 107-117
Wed 24 vs San Antonio L 109-113
Sat 27 vs Golden State L 94-104
December
Wed 01 @ Dallas L 86-100

So we've currently played 18 games, with 10 of those being on the road. We've had 3 back-to-backs already, including the "Florida Razor". We've also played the Lakers and Hawks twice already. The playoff calibre teams we've played are the Lakers, Spurs, Thunder, Mavericks, Hawks, Magic and Heat with the outside chance that Charlotte, New York, Milwaukee, Houston and Memphis could all make it at some point.

I don't know how it stacks up with some of the other schedules but we've definitely dropped the ball a few times. And looking at it I would have said it'd probably be somewhere in the middle, which I guess ESPN kind of says it is. Still, if this is easy we are totally screwed.
