It doesn't work all the time, which is a problem - a lot of finished games or tasks when it forgets to assign points (but still goes through the 3 minute Waiting...Loading...Communicating...Stalling...Saving...Loading...Communicating... garbage).

Beyond that, I'm actually kind of digging it. You get points for finishing non-MyPlayer stuff, which is making me finish more games, and then having incentive to return to MyPlayer since I don't feel like I need to suck and drill for hours before it's any fun (twss - HEY-OH!). After playing Association for a few days, head back to MyPlayer it's it's like, "oh, I can make my guy make baskets now? Word."

That's the thing, I kind of like it but I kind of don't. You have to use it for many things, not just My player attributes. You need to buy equipment, unlock players, team mode cards, etc. If you want to play multiple modes you have to keep in mind that spending points in one area will take them away for something else. Also, if you have two My Players it can be a pain.

I'm holding off on Association and my regular My Player because I am waiting on Shved and the official roster update. When I start up Association I know I will get more points as I tend to play quite a few games there. Still I am on the fence with VC. You get it everywhere but you spend it everywhere too. Also it takes some fun out of My Player because you don't get very much from playing games in it and you have to pay for equipment and things that have always been free to access.

Same here. Just realizing that roster numbers are wrong for Cunningham, Stiemsma, and Lee too. Minor, but things like that bug me.

Anyone get Madden this year? I'm tempted to with how good we are playing right now. How does it compare to last year's game? How are the rookies rated?

I'm really enjoying the game so far. Very Bioshock look, but I like the controls better.

Xcom is my favorite game right now. Heads up for people playing 2K. As you should every year, again I highlt suggest you back up your My Career every now and then. Save it to the cloud or to a memory card. Mine got corrupted and I can't continue it anymore. Pisses me off to no end. Wasted a ton of time and VC. Back that up.

So far in 2K13 I've gone through 4 different myplayers and 2 different CAL's. I've got no patience with this game lol.

i just got 2k13 the other day, made a 6'10 all around small forward drafted by the celtics at 22, take over larry legends spot. finding the defense really hard, i've got my onball defense basically maxed and still on skates trying to guard guys, need to up quickness probably. team defense is pathetic as well...even playing with rondo, bradley and kg - three great defenders, teams are regularly over 90-100 through 3 qtrs, fun game though.

Part of me really wants my guy to force a trade to the Wolves, but the other part likes my role in Portland as the starting PG. We are 21-17, sitting in the 5 seed. I've had 10+ assists in 5 of the last 6 games, including 3 15+ games.

On a positive note, this Harden trade means a roster update should be coming soon. Shved better be in this one!
