If I had posted that on the OT board I might actually be on 1,000 right now.

http://www.cnn.com/2013/05/01/world/asi ... ?hpt=hp_t4

apparently you have to have a baby name ok'd in New Zealand:
As the agency put it, acceptable names must not cause offense to a reasonable person, not be unreasonably long and should not resemble an official title and rank.
It's no surprise then that the names nixed most often since 2001 are "Justice" (62 times) and "King" (31 times).
Some of the other entries scored points in the creativity department -- but clearly didn't take into account the lifetime of pain they'd bring.
"Mafia No Fear." "4Real." "Anal."

You think parents should just be able to name their kids whatever they want? I remember the 4real name story being on the news quite a while back. A lot of people are (Please Use More Appropriate Word) and unfortunately some of them have kids, those kids need protection from them in more ways than just their name.

I can see not allowing some of the more ridiculous ones but something like King or Princess isn't going to scar the child for life or anything.

BTW, how did Grits n Gravy get past the name checkers? You got connections there?

They need laws against the those that try to name their kid "Anal Johanssen" because thats not opening up any doors in life, but if you're filling out the name card and decide to put a Dr. in the front of the first name and an M.D." at the end of the last name - now you're looking out.
to summarize: Dr. Larry Jackson M.D. = good, Anal Jackson Jr. = bad

Life can be a challenge. Life can seem impossible. It’s never easy when there’s so much on the line. But you and I can make a difference. There’s a mission just for you and me. Just look inside and you will find just what you can do. Just look inside and you will find just what you can do.

I can't even watch the low quality streams anymore without serious lagging. Maybe I should invest into my own Internet access rather than mooching off my neighbor's wifi. That way I could probably manage to watch games properly.
