I would be more concerned if he wasn't a restricted free agent. We will see how a Love trade turns out. Maybe we pull a Denver and play even better after the trade.

Pretty sure every one in the NBA wants to be on a winning team.

What's he supposed to say? I just want to get paid and don't care about winning as long as I can live in Minnesota and be rich?

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

He said a lot of things and you would be more confident if you had read the whole interview. He repeated that he is happy in the team/city several times.

If there is a link to the whole interview in English I'd love to read it.

I don't actually care. I highly doubt that Rubio is going to take the qualifying offer and risk a major injury on a one year deal when his rookie contract is up, so it doesn't really matter what he thinks until late in his next contract.

I think a huge thing that is being missed is the amount of pressure the two star players are putting on the wolves brass to win win win. Assuming the wolves brass does their job, it does reason to say that both of them would consider Minny their team and home.

When I heard that the coronation of our new king would be in the first week of the world cup I thought that they were using the world cup as a diversion, now I think is the other way around. xD

I never realized just how little Rubio was involved in the offense last season.

I'm not sure how reliable of a stat this is, but I'm going to point out his usage percentage.
Usage percentage is an estimate of the percentage of team plays used by a player while he was on the floor.

Looking at Basketball-Reference, Rubio finished the 2013-14 season with a usage percentage of 16.4%. By comparison, the next-lowest usage percentages by players who played as many minutes (2,638) as Rubio was Brandon Jennings (23.4%) and Damian Lillard (25.0%).

Timberwolves with higher usage percentages than Ricky Rubio include: Kevin Love (28.8%), Kevin Martin (25.0%), JJ Barea (23.9%), AJ Price (23.2%), Shabazz Muhammad (23.1%), Nikola Pekovic (22.9%), Alexey Shved (20.8%), Gorgui Dieng (16.8%), Chase Budinger (16.7%) and Corey Brewer (16.5%).

---

EDIT: Looking at the formula used, this stat has to do more with shot-taking than time with the ball. Anyone have a better metric to use?
