Yea, the playoffs this year showed me the Heat are capable of being a top tier defensive team when they put their mind to it. I used to think them not having a legit 5 would bite them in the ass but you don't need one. Seems like center and to a lesser extent PF are positions you can be lacking in. Never would have thought Chris Freaking Anderson would play such a pivotal role. Makes me worry about overpaying for Pek.

Maybe when you have freaking Lebron James on your team.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

His play reminded me of Jonny Flynn. Where Jonny injured his hip, so it was understandable and expected that he wouldn't be playing as well/ his athleticism would be shot (like Manu getting older), but then he would do stupid crap that had nothing to do with athleticism - like throwing no look passes straight into the crowd - and those had no excuse.

Miami deserved it and LeBron should get nothing but love after this series.

Poor Spurs. Surely no losing team has come this close to winning a championship only to fail.

Lebron played one hell of a game and probably stuck it to a lot of people that hate him, because he played as good as I've seen anyone this year.

Overall good series, lot of crazy endings and went to game 7. Just doesnt feel like the season is over though.

Maybe. I hate the Spurs for clowning us for years and the cHeat for obvious LeDecision and teaming up reasons. I don't feel like I have missed anything.

If it was Indy vs. any team but Spurs or Grizzlies I probably would've watched all 7 games.

I think even his haters admit that he is the best player of the game. How can he stuck it to them then?

Reading some trade ideas in other teams boards, I come across this.

LAL/OKC/MIN trade

I honestly can never tell if they're ever serious.

how the hell do you give up an unprotected 1st for a coach?

not a player. not a guy who actually suits up and plays.

but a coach.

They saw that the last time they traded away an unprotected 1st worked really well for them, so they wanted to repeat that success.

when i heard that, i thought it was just a sign that they don't trust their own abilities to add a decent coach in the summer. well i guess we're all pretty lazy and stupid, so we'll just offer a first for whoever has a good coach. maybe cp3 really wanted him.

Doc rivers is for sure worth a first round pick imo. Hes still one of the best coaches in the league.

Yeah, I didn't know it was possible. Has anyone ever traded for a coach before?
