Karl would be a great fit offensively, but our defense would be even worse.

Highly doubt it.

This took me by surprise. Not excited to hear it.

Positive spin is this is coming from left field, so still tough to speculate on which other candidates have been in touch.

Wow Del Negro f*ck this. How did the wolves not seal the deal with Joerger? Another couple years of sh*t coaching. Did not like the Mitchell rumors but now he looks like a banana split sundae on a hot day

Lol. There isn't a name out there that fans loathe more than Vinny Del Negro. He got past the first round with the Clippers, same as Doc, but Del Negro is the worst coach of all time and Doc is a top 5 coach in the NBA.

I really think the hatred for Del Negro is irrational and it's just the media piling on.

Del Negro sucks. I watched this clown operate in Chicago. At one point fisticuffs erupted between him and Paxon.

I'm from Europe and a fan of Timberwolves since 2004.

But still wonder why I like so much of a team that only does so many mistakes.

Vinny Del Negro ? Are you kidding me ?

I watched him in LA. He was just as big of a clown. Good news if he's not a serious candidate.

I will offer any amount of goats or chickens as blood sacrifices to keep Del Negro away from this team. Just no.

I would prefer Karl to anyone else now that SVG is off the market. After Karl my pick would be Hollins.

Vinny? Really?

Oh, all ready been debunked. That was fast.

Going from Jorger to Del Negro. Can't write this stuff. I'm so happy Wittman got an extension and didn't get fired!

I'm not sure if there's a name out there left that would be a long term coaching candidate and would satisfy the fanbase.

If you look around the league, most fans want new head coaches (who have paid their dues as assistants or won somewhere else i.e. Blatt). They truly don't want any re-treads. I think Vinny is going to have to go back to being an assistant for a few years to gain more experience.

I also don't think he's a bad coach, he just became a victim of circumstances in big cities.

Flip is going to coach this year. At this point I would be fine with it. This will be a year to develop players anyway..

No quality coach is going to come into this season with all the questions moving forward...

We can go into 2015 offseason with a talented young roster and go hard after Hoiberg again..
