Kevin Love in Boston.."seeing what this town is all about"

Post#1 » by robbie84 » Sat May 31, 2014 2:59 pm

Right off the plane he headed to The Greatest Bar for dinner up in the mezzanine. He sat in The Greatest Bar with his to buddies for a couple hours and then Rumor has it he headed over to Rumor for a night cap!

When asked why he was in town he responded ? Im here to just check out the city and see what it's like?? Tomorrow (actually today as it?s 2am) he will be walking around the city checking out all the sights . We hear he is headed to Del Frisco?s in this evening (Sat. Night). Sunday he will be going to the Red Sox game

Sounds like he's sightseeing in Boston. Thanks for starting a thread for something that didn't need to be posted at all. Cool.

Yeah completely un-newsworthy to T Wolves fans given the recent rumors re Love.

A deal is already in place. Love is probably going house-hunting and getting acclimated to the city of Boston.
Handsome.

Maybe this is more important than we think.
Love can say/has already said 2-3 teams where he wants to go.
If i was Love and i liked Celtics as a destination then "sightseeing" is a logical action.
Additionally Celtics are a good trade partner for the Wolves.

Good. Boston seems to have the best possible realistic package for us.

I think it's noteworthy. Celtics are one of the more realistic trade destinations. They can offer us a ton of picks and/or players. It also helps that they're in the East, whereas trading Love to the Warriors or Suns would only make it harder for the Wolves to get a seed in the competitive West. In trading Love he's going to have input, because if he affirms he's more than willing to resign with a team we are able to get more back in return.

So what is realistically an ideal trade with Boston for us?

Obviously #6 is involved and one of Olynyk/Sullinger. What more? I'd really want the Nets 2016 first round pick.

What fillers though? Bogans? Bass? Anthony? Jeff Green even?
