Excited to hear/see our euro prospects Nemanja and Bojan season after next or to see if they are even good enough to make the squad. With Love leaving, their offense could help. Mo,LaVine,Brew,Bojan,Gorgui running the bench would be fun. Bojan is only 22 also.

BJ is more athletic and has more experience so I think they get BJ first. He fits the run and gun style
and Siva is already signed with the Magic

BJ as in Brandon Jennings? No thanks.

Oh, good. Yeah we will see. I have heard a lot of good things about him but he doesnt seem like much more that a role player at best. Think if Pek is here he could help Bojan through his NBA transition. I like Bojan ceiling more than Nemanja's.

Bojan is more grounded tho. He doesnt jump much. I like BJ more because of his mobility

I just dont think he would be worth the defensive liability. He gets beat off the dribble in euroleague and is definitely too small to compete with most NBA 4's.And I think we have the SF spot most likely taken for the next few years. If we are looking for a possible future piece at PF I think we definitely check out Bojan first.

People need to stop thinking in terms of a traditional NBA power forward, because that's not what Flip seems to be looking for.

We have an uptempo system, so it'd be pointless to add another PF like Taj Gibson or Elton Brand. He is looking for offensive versatility, that's why someone like Thad Young fits. And why Nemanja Bjelica will probably fit next year.

Sounds like Boris Diaw. Good fit with dominant C. Or useful PF from the bench. I expect his contract in NBA to be 4-5 mil yr.

He's a 3/4 way player, because for 1/4 of the games he's not playing.

I could be talked into it. Last year, played 1/2 his minutes as a PF and 1/2 as a SF. Had a 17.8 PER as a PF and a 11.5 PER as a SF.

I wouldn't trade Pek for him though. For one, that just opens up another hole. Second, it's overpaying because Pek's reputation isn't in the toilet like Smith's is.

However, I would consider trading from our glut of wings and expiring contracts. I'd do Barea, Moute, and Brewer for Smith. In that scenario we'd get Smith instead of Thad, but we'd also get to keep the Miami pick.

Smith is still capable of putting up 30/10/5 games when he is plugged in. Detroit was a mess last year, so can't completely blame him.

Assuming he's not traded, have a feeling that Stan Van Gundy will be able to get the most out of him and his trade value will go up this season.

I dont think either of them is NBA ready but I'd give slight advantage to Bojan and this is why.

Bjelica is jack-of-all-trades master of none kind of player.I like him a lot.As long he is not asked to do too much he will be fine and deliver decent performances. His game is not based on athleticism but on skills and finesse.I am not quite sure his game can translate into NBA as if none of his skills are good enough to have some kind of specialist role.

Bojan has experience in running teams, Valencia ran a lot and their transition game was deadly last season. They played a lot small-ball lineups with him as 5 and i believe his shooting can translate in NBA game, he has range and decent post game.Being 46% career 3pt shooter I think he can become Okur/Channing Frye kind of player.

We don't need our PF to run the team, though. I'd rather have someone who can do a little bit of everything. Especially in a more uptempo offense, advantage goes to Bjelica. We don't need a small-ball 5, we already have three centers.

I'd like a vet guy like Thad Young and a couple young prospects like Anthony Bennett and Andrew Wiggins.

I'd take a chance on Josh Smith as well if we got him for cheap. I only worry about his attitude around the young guys.

But I wouldn't mind him. If his attitude is in check then I'm all for taking on a reclamation project for cheap.

Dubljevic isnt C, he is PF which used to play 5 in small-ball lineups.i mentioned it to get the idea how his team played. He is 6'9 lol.
