I'd like to see GR3 get those minutes and see what he can do with them. At this point, I don't see Bud being a part of this team in the future.
I think that Flip is trying to increase Bud value across the league. Also GRIII has only 1yr contract , so he will sign new contract next summer. I am not sure if we should give him plenty of minutes for development or trade him.
I would be fine with getting him some more minutes just with the depleted roster. He should probably be sent down to the D League with Lavine when they get the starters back. It seemed to help Shabazz last year.
