We're comparing this year's team to last year's team. Martin missed 14 games total last year (out of 82). He's missed 21 (out of 30) already this year. Pekovic missed 28 last year in 82 games and has already missed 21 this year in 30 games. If you're talking about the drop off from last year's team to this year's team, that can't be ignored, and those kind of injury problems couldn't have been predicted earlier in the year.

So, what your saying is that you can't judge a team based on only half a season? What about 30 games?

Against the Bulls (the refs won that game for the Bulls)

The Orlando game with Rubio on the floor was a easy win, they were in the control of that game, before Rubio got injured.

We were building something special right there.

Im not saying that we could make the playoffs, we are in the west, in the east with everybody healthy, easy, easy trip to the playoffs.

In the west ? dificult.
But maybe we had reach that 40 wins for sure.

I also was suprised how much the team fall without Rubio.

Was bad.

Happy new year guys.
;) almost new year over here and im talking on the phone about the Wolves. LOL

I have to think it would be a great deal for us to get Flip to part with Bazz now.

Not only is Bazz the guy playing the best on our team right now, he's the only one working his butt off to improve with massive results. Kevin Love did the same. Bazzy is the last guy I would trade at the moment.

What you with Bazz is get him a full time one on one coach to teach him to play defense

I'm all about that Bazz bout that Bazz, NO HUMMEL!

I was strangely powerless against that terrible dad joke. I'm still chuckling against my will.

I think that would be a perfect fit for his skillset. It'd be nice to have a guy like him come in and beat up 2nd units and be the instant offense type. Sick of having our backup PGs try to be that spark off the bench, it basically ends in no offense being run.

Obiviously this is the case. The problem is, the Wolves need a lot more pieces to be satisfied with having their 6th man for the future. It's like being glad you have your closer in baseball, but yet having no good starters. If you can get something valuable for Bazz, you pull the trigger

He didn't call Bazz the 6th man of the future. He called him the 6th man of right now.

What would be some examples of "something valuable"?

:-? Personally, I'd keep starting Bazz and bring Martin off the bench. I suppose Bazz of the bench could work better, though, since it would open a spot in the 2-guard rotation for LaVine.

SF - Wiggins/ Shabazz
SG - Martin/ LaVine
PG - Rubio/ Williams

It would have to be a surefire, 2-way starter to satisfy guest81's criticisms, and we're not getting a player like that for Shabazz.

I'm not sure why we need to bump this.
