Can the Cavs do it?

thought for sure they'd lose in devastating fashion again, but thankfully JR Smith fouled out just when they didn't need him the most.

Last year I was advocating for Blatt. Now you can see why.
1) he develops chemistry
2) under his coaching role players step up
3) he is able to change his game plan, strategy according to circumstances
4) he is good speaking with media, fans love him
5) his teams play hard-nosed, disciplined defense

Blatt gets no credit for their defense?

If under this circumstances (Love, Irving, Varejao out) the Warriors dont win the Championship this year, they are not going to win one anytime soon.

One thing this finals is proving (or should I say re-proving) is that good, hard-nosed defense will beat a jump shooting-dominant offense at this level of play. You can throw the analytics out the window in the finals.

I'd say that Blatt is completely outplaying Kerr. That is why we need a good coach first and foremost.

You can tell the guys that haven't been here before and aren't adjusting well to the finals stage. Klay is doing well because he has that Mychael Thompsons blood, Moz is doing well because he's Russian, and Delly is because he grew up wrestling alligators, but JR, Shumpert, Curry, and Draymond seem like they're still getting used to the finals stage. Lebron's experience is really paying off. Cleveland needs to pick it up though to close this out because they've been flubbing a ton of offensive possessions and it hasn't hurt them too badly since GS isn't making them pay, but I don't expect that to continue.

I still think the Warriors will win it but man, if they don't this will be the most embarrassing finals in recent memory. No Love, No Kyrie, and Lebron and a bunch of role players are beating one of the more stacked squads in the NBA. This will hurt GSW fans bad. On top of that there is no gurnatee they will get back here. Thunder will be back and strong next year, Spurs may be back in the picture and better, Rockets or Memphis may make a trade to get that extra piece. Clippers could too.

Then even if they do make it to the finals again next year, they will probably be facing a Cavs team that has a health Love and Irving with yet another season under their belts and a big chip on their shoulders. This is as good as a chance as any the Warriors got of taking it home. They need this title.
