Arnie Kander
I know his hiring is old news, but he recently had his introductory presser. He's a really good listen: http://www.nba.com/timberwolves/video/teams/timberwolves/2015/09/18/21321/1442610052591-15_09_17-Kander-Presser.mp4-21321

Nice, Klomp.
Listening to this was awesome. Studying Kinesiology, everything he was talking about made perfect sense, I like his approach to helping players get their body and mind right..Especially when he started talking about routine and normalcy that keeps players healthy.
Dysfunctional Wolves fan

Awesome listen, I think he is going to change a lot (for the better) with this team. KAT is going to love picking his brain.

Wow yea I dunno, dude sounds like a huge hippie. Building **** out of PVC pipes? Rubbing juiced foods on skin? This isn't so much old school as is it outdated, voodoo hogwash. The Wolves are right next to the one of the best treatment facility in the world. They SHOULD be like the Suns, leading in the latest treatments backed by actual science. Instead we got a guy rubbing banana peels on boo boos.

Do you have any proof that he isn't using any actual science in his treatment of players?

Maybe. I guess "science" is a pretty broad term. But when you compare this article about his methods, to an article about the Suns training staff, they seem vastly different in terms of latest training techniques. Hell Kander even used the term "old school" for his methods.
Just for reference, here's an article on the Suns training staff

Bottom line is we can't be sure that rattlesnake skin tonic isn't a cure for an ACL tear until we try it.

So because it's weird to you it's invalid?
Can you prove ANY of his methods wrong?
No, you can't. So instead you make half assed and lazy dismissals of his treatments by describing them inaccurately.
He doesn't "Rub juiced foods on skin", he uses a food-based secret formula that the players called "Arnie's Juice".
The truth is you have no clue what is actually in it. Even if you did, you wouldn't be able to make any sort of intelligent assessments on it's credibility as a sports therapy, because you're just some guy on the internet that doesn't know what he's talking about.
"Rubbing banana peels on boo boos" is how you interpret "He is the guy who once helped put Chauncey Billups back on the court in only four days by wrapping frozen banana peels on his split hamstring."
"Those frozen banana peels prepped Billups to play in mere days during a playoff series with Orlando one year. Kander said the fat content in the layers of the banana helps bring bruises out of muscles toward the skin surface.
“The worst thing is a bruise you don’t see,” Kander said. “People look at one and say, ‘Oh, that’s a terrible bruise.’ I say it’s the most beautiful bruise I’ve ever seen because it’s out. The worst bruises are the ones that stay in.”"
Do you have any science to refute his claims? Are you saying that it didn't work and Chauncey Billups wasn't back on the court in only four days after having wrapped banana peels on his split hamstring? He doesn't say it's a spiritual thing or voodoo, he flatly states that "the fat content in the layers of the banana help bring bruises out of muscles toward the skin surface".
Where is your science to refute his science? What because he uses banana peels he's some whack-a-doo? Where's your proof that it didn't/doesn't work? Do you have any sort of background in sports medicine, physical therapy, and Kinesiology to back up your claims?
So what you're saying is that we should listen to some guy on the internet with no proof to back up his claims and not believe in a guy that has a proven track record of healthy teams and INCREDIBLY EFFECTIVE TREATMENTS to NBA players for OVER 20 YEARS?
What's your theory, he just hypnotizes them into being healthy?
Oh wait, no I got it. You have no clue what you're talking about, but rather than take the time to do some actual research you decide to lazily read an article while switching between tabs of youtube and pornhub. Just enough where you think that not only does your opinion on the matter have some sort of value (it doesn't), but also that you should probably take the time to be negative about something you know nothing about because "the dude sounds like a huge hippie" to you.
You may not be a troll, but you're definitely not a happy person if you default to negative when you don't understand something.
Maybe you should take time to learn more about things before allowing your misinformed posts to spew out from your fingers and derail threads that could actually be very interesting.
TL;DR

If being able to be more knowledgeable then the person in order to criticize them was the requirement, then this whole board is pretty much useless. A guy like Kurt Rambis knows more about Basketball then this entire board combined, yet we are able to criticize and point out that he's not a very good coach. whats the difference here?

The difference is that Kander, unlike Rambis, has proven to be very good at what he does.

true, but we can also use the same logic to Rick Adelman, who people criticized but also is a proven head coach
