I'm surprised PHI board picked Ingram. Most 76ers fans I come across seem adamant about taking Simmons, although I think Ingram is the better pick.

I would take Dunn if the draft fell this way, but Heild is obviously enticing here.

Hield pretty easily for me. He's got an elite-level skill that the Wolves desperately need.

I voted for Hield but it was not an easy decision for me. It was the work ethic that pushed him over the top for me.

I just don't know how the minutes work if we take Hield. 48 shooting guard minutes between Zach and Buddy means Zach has to play quite a bit of point guard to get each a decent amount of minutes. If we didn't have Zach I'd be all about it but I think Zach is a future all star and would rather not move him around any more if we can help it. I'd probably lean toward Luwawu at this point personally. If the DX mock was true and we could trade back for he and Sabonis that'd be pretty awesome in my books.

If murray and bender are off the books we should search for a trade. Dunn is a really good prospect to any team looking for a upside PG in a weak PG class draft. For that reason he would get more value than Hield or Luwawu. Philly, sacto, bucks, utah, probably the most glaring. Maybe boston if they dont feel I.Thomas like a long term core.

If they cant offer anything close in value, its a hard choice, but would be between take hield (and play wiggins full time SF) or take dunn and play him like rubio backup.

All of those numbers are below average for a SF.

Because apparently those numbers aren't even big enough for a SG, let alone a SF.

Why you want Hield, another Shazz profile?

Dunn all the way at that spot unless a team blows us away with an offer which would be for Dunn

Trade down for Chriss or Luwawu.

Don't want Dunn or Hield.

Wouldn't Hield provide some good shooting off the bench? It seemed as if 'Bazz was the only cat we had scoring points that wasn't a starter, and when defenses buckled down on him, we went into a hole.

Any one of the three guards will be able to score points off the bench at a decent rate. What's important in determining who should be the right pick is deciding what other traits are most important.

-Offensive versatility (Murray)
-Shooting (Hield)
-Defense (Dunn)

He's nothing like Shabazz. Hield is a pure SG and a lights out shooter. He's more like JJ Reddick and that is a player this team needs.

It would be interesting to see a statistical breakdown of how the bench performed, if only to identify their biggest weaknesses. Were they, collectively, worse on the offensive end, or the defensive end? If they were equally inept, I'd suggest we look at the player most capable of providing whatever is most needed in the starting lineup, if only to provide insurance against injury as well as depth production.

I suspect I worded that whole thing very poorly.

Went with Brown.

Like the look of his aggression and physical abilities. Will be able to come in and lead the second unit from day one.
"That's why the last two years weren't guaranteed," Walsh said. "Either way, he knew it could have happened either way."

Are you trading Bazz in this scenario?
