OK I'm done with my rant about the 3 point shot. It's never going away. Sorry. Back to free agents. Get Jordan Mickey.

Re: Free Agents: 2017 and beyond
I think the main point of 3pt discussion is that we need to shoot better from 3pt AND defend better 3pt line. Anthony Brown looks like an ideal prospect from this point of view: tall, with good wingspan, a good shooter from 3pt, smart defender. Another one could be CJ Wilcox

I just read T Jones is headed to China for 2 million dollars. Would have been nice to offer him the vet min, has to be around 2 mil right?
I think NO screwed him with minutes, or lack there of.

Wow...I really like this signing. He has flaws but Trimble could evolve into a really nice bench player for us. I like what Thibs has done with Anthony Brown and now Melo.
Glen Taylor: "Is this moron #1 (Layden)? Put moron #2 (Thibs) on the phone."

Trimble is a decent guy to take a chance on. It's not a g-league deal?

Interesting timing on this signing, considering the WaPo just ran a story on him today

It wouldn't surprise me if he's considered an "affiliate player":
What is an “affiliate” player?
At the end of NBA training camps, NBA teams can allocate up to four players to their G League affiliate team (if they have one). These players can still be called up by any other NBA team once they are in the G League. Affiliate players can make a maximum of $50,000 via NBA training camp partial guarantees.

2 way contract? Or will he be our 3rd string point guard?
