Man, I'd love to have my Sonics back, and it'd be nice if it was thanks to a team that I've been rooting for for the past 20+ years. On the other hand, I'm really fed up with this franchise. There would really need to be deep changes under Lore and Rodriguez.

Glen Taylor's full quote re: keeping the team in Minnesota:

"They will keep the team here, yes. We will put it in the agreement. At this point we have a letter of intent, but when we make up the contract we’ll put that in there. That’s no problem. That won’t be a problem."

Taylor said A-Rod and Lore pledged to keep the teams in Minnesota and they will include language in the potential deal to that effect.

I pretty much quit following the San Diego Chargers from moving from Diego to LA. I will all the more quit following the Wolves if they move.

1000% behind this,the Wolves have been my squad and favorite sports team since I was a little kid pre dating the KG era.Only why I might stop being a fan of the Wolves is if the relocate and drop the Wolves name and history like the Thunder did with the Sonics.

I remember when the North Stars left, I still followed them for a couple years but it wasn’t the same. I don’t think I’d even try this time. I still think it’s at least 5 years before we have to consider this, and who knows what happens in the mean time.

Despite the inevitable threat of the team leaving eventually, this is still the best thing to happen to us in a long time. The franchise has been the laughing stock of the league for over a decade and it all starts at the top. Remember when we hired an admin/media guy with no scouting experience to be our GM? Remember when we had to sell draft picks so we could afford to fire Rambis and find a replacement? Remember when Taylor forced Thibs to include LaVine in the Butler trade instead of Wiggins?

The probability of the new owners being as incompetent as Taylor is very low, so rejoice Wolves fans. Today is a good day.
