Love it. Was saying we should go after him all along. Great contract as well. Now use the BAE to look at center?

Frankly thought he was too good for Wolves to be considered
Still curious if consolidation trade coming

Good player, good contract, a movable piece if needed. Hard for this to be a mistake short of an act of God. Not sexy, makes the team better.

I like the defensive stats, but I know so little about him I cannot comment on this one way or another. Only thing I will say is I wish he was a bit taller and bulkier.

Great Pickup! If we are moving towards starting McDaniels, this is the ideal running mate at the other forward spot. They’ll be interchangeable defensively depending on matchups. Anderson can draw the bigger PF, whereas McDaniels can slide over to cover when dealing with the more athletic 4’s. He also collapses the defense when we have shooters on the floor with his ability to dribble drive. The biggest thing might be his calming effect on this young team. We lost a lot of games by not recognizing runs from our opponents and just slowing down to run our half court offense.

I am surprised he is only 28 . Hope he has another 2020 type season for the wolves.

You gotta watch this. Not sure why it didn’t pop in the thread. It is how Kyle Anderson got the slow mo nickname.

Pretty solid signing. With how competitive Western Conference is, even qualifying for playoffs will be a battle and we need good depth for that. Our frontcourt depth was so bad last season..glad that we are addressing it.

Interesting. Fits the hooper designation that Conely likes.

On a secondary note, if Finch plays Anderson and Vanderbilt most of the minutes at PF, it would allow McDaniels and Prince to spend more time at SF, which are likely their more natural positions.

I like the start for Connelly. Excellent signing all around.

Current rotations
Dlo, Ant, MCD, Slomo, KAT
Beverly, Nowell, Prince, V8, Reid
JMAC, Beasley, Lea, Moore, Kessler
Two ways Minott and Knight.
We can mix and match above but if we are serious about adding another big, then we need to make another move. Gonna be an interesting couple of weeks/months.

I agree, and remember .. this area was supposed to be one of his weaknesses.
I’m anxious to see if the draft picks (his strength), turn into good selections!
