Wolves can be the one seed if we win out. BTW, I am watching on the DVR and am way behind. Still halfway through the 2nd quarter to go. So I will not respond for a while.

I just got home, and I can’t believe it! #1 seed through 81 games!

EDIT: Nope, #2 Seed

1. OKC
2. MIN
3. DEN

This is worse, since we have to play Nuggets in the semi’s.

If Denver throws their game against the Griz they can avoid us. If Denver wins, and OKC loses then OKC ends up the 3. If everyone wins we are the 2 seed. I will say this, Denver might prefer OKC who has no playoff experience and not gamble that OKC loses to Dallas without Kyrie and Luka. Mike Malone may sit all 5 starters and see what happens.

ESPN said the Kings played the suns 4 times before tonight. Am I missing something?

Byproduct of the extra games from after group play in the in-season tournament. Sometimes it will be unavoidable.

The NBA can reschedule games on the back half to avoid it. This is a bug rather than a feature.

Wow. That is both amazing and scary. I wonder how many times that has happened over the years.

Who do you think has a better chance of beating Denver in round 1, LAL or the Pels?

Probably New Orleans, if everyone is clicking...

Lakers got a lot of hype for playing Denver last year and people think they are dangerous this year, Nuggets are going to beat them like a dusty rug in the Wild West.

I get confused about the play in. Are the Pelicans out or do they get another chance? Kings leading the warriors late in the 2nd quarter 48-40.

I expect so, but I wouldn't mind an upset at all.

The Pels will play the winner of the Kings/Warriors game. Winner gets the 8 seed.

I wouldn't mind and upset and in that case I fully expect us to knock them out if we reach round two.

Man what a dream it would have been to play this Warriors team in a 7 game series. We would have crushed them.
