Luka not playing intimidating at all..

Jaden gonna have to lockdown williams.. that guy is good.

OKC annihilates Dallas. Luka only 19 points. WOW.

I'd be surprised, unless they let them play physical. Don't want him in foul trouble!

Luka was playing hurt and power outage for the Mavs overall. Meanwhile the Thunder were out hustling the Mavs and grabbing offensive rebounds, 50/50 balls, and getting favorable whistles. The Mavs could and should figure out how to use their size and take game 2. I don’t think OKC is improperly evaluated, I just think they are too small.

People are sleeping on OKC's defense too, it's disciplined and very very good.
Dort and Wallace put Luka and Kyrie in jail tonight.

Their bench is also deep and can shoot.

I will be a little surprised if the Mavericks take even one game.

This is great news for us. The more the cap rises year by year the easier it will be to maintain an expensive team.

I'm not a CBA or a cap guy, but didn't the current CBA cap the percentage rise per year? Shrink, help me out here, please. :D

Cap raises as the overall NBA revenue rises. The new CBA caps the percentage the cap can jump by 10% per year. Extra from any given year is distributed into future years. So the more money the TV deal pays the better for us. This is oversimplified but essentially good enough.

Yes, last time there was a big new tv deal, the players Union rejected the owners’ attempt to limit the huge influx of money, and its affect on the cap. It had two unfortunate effects - every player THAT YEAR who needed a new deal got that money, and the higher cap allowed GSW to add Durant to an already stacked team. Win’s right, this time it’s limited to 10%.

As CBA nerds, we get so focused on the salary cap though, that people miss the big picture — the owners get that tv money. For us that’s a very big deal, because our owners may be more willing to pay lux taxes

It's Official. Joker wins MVP. Ant does not make top 5 but is among those receiving votes.

Nikola Jokic has been named the 23-24 NBA Most Valuable Player, winning the award for the third time in his career.

Jokic is the ninth player to win the award three or more times in his career.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander finished second ahead of Luka Doncic at third. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jalen Brunson rounded out the top-5.

Jokic received 79 first place votes, 18 second place votes and two third place votes.

Gilgeous-Alexander received 15 first place votes, 40 second place votes, 40 third place votes, three fourth place votes and one fifth place votes.

Doncic received four first place votes, 36 second place votes, 50 third place votes and eight fourth place votes.

Jayson Tatum, Anthony Edwards, Domantas Sabonis and Kevin Durant also received votes.

Not sure how to post the video without the link, but thought this was well put together on adjustments made by the coaching staff against okc in the regular season

OG seems to be hurt. He limped off the court and was grabbing at the back of his leg. Could be a cramp, but could be a hamstring or quad.

Update: sore left hamstring, out for the night. This could be a massive loss for the Knicks and if Knicks vs Celtics is inevitable, bad for us in the long run.

You’re not alone, so here’s a quick explanation

1. Go to the YouTube page and clip the address

https://www.youtubeh.com/watch?v=JJkL4MVWGAI

2. Click on the YouTube button directly above the text box

3. Then cut the identifier out and stick it between the two YouTube’s. The identifier will be everything after the = sign (JJkL4MVWGAI).

I actually found that if you get the link correct the YouTube button is not needed, (it is auto inserted by RealGM.) the key for me was to delete everything up to the ? when on mobile.

Geez, noticed this morning, bos was -8000 to win the series vs cle. That is beyond excessive. Awesome to see Cleveland playing well.

Old news. But I didn't catch your views on this: why didn't Malone get Td up for his tweak mode?
