Dragic was very quick, shifty player. Kolek reminds me more Payton Pritchard

I'm still very in on him! Perfect fit for how we want to play!

I am watching NCAA Purdue vs Tennessee. It's basically Edey (40 pt,16rb) vs Knecht (37, 6-12 3s). What is more interesting is that Knecht is projected to be the 3rd overall pick and Edey is projected to be the 36th pick going to Philly. If this is year 2000, I think it would be the other way around. Since Wolves love centers, I am wondering if we should draft Edey in the 1st round as backup and Gobert/Towns replacement? He is 7'4"", looks mobile but raw. Seems to be more coordinated than Gobert. If Kessler can have some success in the NBA, I think Edey will be better, like a teller version of Jarrett Allen.

I have no idea who we will draft, but we will be drafting last in the first round.. Unless we trade up.

With a win tonight, we'll be 6 games back with 8 games to go.

Just read an article about Edey. He grew up in Toronto and wants to play hockey and baseball when he was young. He didn't play basketball until sophomore in high school when he grew to 7'2", so that explains why he is fairly agile but raw. He is going to be a top 10 pick depending on his performance against NC State. It's too bad in that he won't be around when we are ready to pick.

What about Mark Sears??
"...I want to compliment him, we all expected that he would take up the game, we have prepared the plan race on him, we have doubled. And, as usual, he did what he wanted..."

I’d stay far away from Ajay Mitchell tbh, he plays in a really bad conference his defense is non existent and isn’t very athletic.

I think this draft wolves need to take chances on Jaden McDaniels types, really athletic high rated recruits that really stunk it up their freshmen season in college and played under mediocre head coaches that couldn’t coach them up to their abilities and thus will be available around the Wolves picks.

An understudy/protege for Gobert for the future would be amazing, but I think Edey goes in the lottery.
Are there any other players who might fit that profile?

Same here. Especially since when I seen how we use our last seasons late pick in Leonard Miller. Meaning not using him at all.

Welcome to being a successful team that doesn't have a Top 5, 10, 15 or even 20 pick.

And after this year we don't even have a 1st round pick every other year! So perfect!

I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s around after the 2nd we have. He’s a very solid college guy but not a lot of his game screams NBA.
Rest in peace Mamba. There'll never be another Kobe.
