Fontecchio was traded from the Jazz to the Pistons on Wednesday in exchange for Kevin Knox and a 2024 second-round pick, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

I can't see us beating their offer. They gave up the better of the MEM/WIZ pick (we have the worse) and the draft rights to Gabriele Procida (36th pick in the 2022 draft).

So it was almost a first round pick.

And Procida is a very good prospect. 21 year-old, 6'7 wing that is an outstanding shooter and athlete with the ability to create his own shot.

So I was probably right to like Fontecchio. He must be pretty good to command that.

Or Detroit is bad at deal making. Given that we might be making deals with them, let’s hope ;)

No reason not to like him. He's been very productive for Utah this year. 45/39/80 in 23 MPG. Does a bit of everything.

Utah basically traded a 28 year-old for the 21 year-old version of the same guy - they're even both from Italy. I have no idea why Detroit did it.

Maybe the guy told Detroit he won’t come over unless they trade him.

I didn't want this guy. I wonder why the Celtics did it having IMO two pretty good back up centers in Horford and Kornet. I guess Horford doesn't have much time left.

The Grizzlies traded Tillman (knee) to the Celtics for two second-round picks Wednesday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

This is the move that was telegraphed for a while. The real question is what did we trade Kyle for?

On paper, sure. Just have to hope that he returns to form, from the injury.

I thought Shake was going to big time for us. Sad how that turned out, we really needed him to be a bucket-getter. Hopefully he can turn it around in Detroit.

Very low risk move. Morris gives us another PG that can shoot if he rounds into form (he’s been pretty awful since his return).

Only thing I don’t like is that I was hoping we combine Anderson, Brown, and Shake for a more impactful guy, like Bogdonavic. But was probably always a pipe dream.

No reason to think he won't once he shakes off the rust.

Guy is as consistent of a shooter as there is the past 5 years.

If Kyle unfollowed the Wolves he must think he was moved. Has anyone heard anything? Royce O’Neal maybe?

Do we need to shed some cap after this deal? Monte makes a fair bit more than TBJ/Shake. Does this come down to the percentage of the season we have him for?
