I'm worried the team will learn the wrong thing from the Hornets debacle. The lesson is not we shouldn't try to feed KAT more. I love that we got him really involved. We just overdid it and everything else was terrible. This team has to empower Towns a lot more on offense. We need him scoring at an elite level and he hasn't done that yet since the big trade. We wont go far without it
yeah, in one sense its impressive how skilled KAT is that he can generate half court offense that way
but its not really something you can do against high level defenses, its not "good basketball"
Not saying exactly scoring like he did in that game but as a whole, we need to find way to unlock Towns as an offensive weapon. For 7 seasons he was unstoppable. No one could stop him from getting 25 points of good efficiency. The only time he ever had a problem was when they started doubling him with a small and cutting off his options. Outside of that he was killing everything a defense could throw at him. Now he is so much more limited on offense.
We will need to get him back to what he was before if we want to be able to go far, we can't just hope Edwards bails us out everytime.
