The big question is whether Naz can do enough on defense to keep teams from hunting Rudy on the perimeter. Beforehand you often had KAT behind him covering the basket. Can Reid do the same in starters minutes? I honestly think he can.

Where this really hurts is the bench.

Tj Warren and Leonard Miller have entered the chat.

TJ Warren is not even on the same continent. Marcus Morris is the guy who might enter the chat if he is healthy, if he wants to be here, and if we can get him up to speed. Minott and Miller might have a role to play before the playoffs. During the playoffs our rotation will go 7 or 8 deep and Naz will eat most of Karl’s minutes. NAW and/or Kyle/Monte will get the rest.

Put it this way, is there any team we cannot beat? The simple answer is ask Denver, Boston, OKC, LAC, the Cavs, Mavs, Miami, the Bucks, ect…. What they think. We aren’t just a contender, we are the #1 seed in the west right now and for a very good reason. We are THE CONTENDER right now.

Our defense gives us a chance. As long as we can take care of the ball on offense then we are very very good.

I just finished watching Extended HL...what can I say? I haven't been this excited since KG... our defensive system is monstrous at times, it suffocates the opponent... if we don't make stupid mistakes in attack we can compete with anyone. The key to our playoffs will be to reintegrate KAT into this system which appears perfect right now..

GO WOLVEEEEES!!

Maybe could be pathetic but I didn't see in the general board the appreciation we deserve for this statement W...

Defense can bring you title. Today we make them work very hard and even Joker was not efficient as he usually is. KAT coming, we have to find a way to put him back without hurting the flow. I'm worry about KAT TO who could be costly at money time.

Chance to be Western Conference Top Seed according to ESPN Analytics

59% Timberwolves
27% Thunder
15% Nuggets

(remaining Strength of Schedule): OKC 8th, MIN 23rd, DEN 28th

Nice. I wonder if KAT being out for the remainder of the season factors into that prediction or it's simply a mathematical formula based on record and strength of schedule.

If there are doubters, I would ask this......what don't we have that will prevent us from being title contenders?

I'm obviously not a doubter, but if I was I would say our lack of experience with a deep playoff run.

We don't have deep runs together, but we've made three straight playoffs with Finch/Ant/KAT/Jaden/Naz/JMac and those experiences add up. Mike, Rudy, Kyle and Monte all have their own deep playoff runs as well.

I'm not saying you're wrong necessarily, but that would be my counter to that argument.

What’s funny is how all the talking heads are running out of reasons to be doubters!

Before the season started, some of those doubter s predicted we wouldn’t make the play in. “Towns and Gobert can’t coexist!” “Gobert gets exposed in a 5-out!” “Mike Conley is too old!” “The West is just too tough!”

All those justifications have been smashed to pieces by the #1 Wolves. All that’s left for them is “no playoff experience.” It‘s the last hurdle that still allows them to rate our team below those big name Play In teams like LAL and GSW.

Our Wolves have proven the doubters wrong all season. No reason to think they won’t do so again.

+ Best defense of the NBA, good PG combo, Rudy DPOY, KAT Experience, ANT big improvment this year.

- Lack of experiences, lack of shooting, too many TO, KAT in PO, Ant still missing exp at clutch time...

Let's see. I hope for a WCF for this year but it will be tough.
