I don't understand it, with Sabonis out, there is no interior defense. Why still have Towns standing outside as spot up shooter or passer?

Unfortunate, but the Sacramento Kings played their hearts out with De'Arron Fox out. On to the next one.

Monk has 35 points in the 2nd half. Totally unconscious.

Kat throwing the ball out of bounds across court is still hard for me to believe. Really cost us.

They haven't been around for a long time. This game might wake them up.

You guessed that it starts with an F ;).

The Spurs do us a solid and give us a game on the Thunder. So of course, we return to sender the next night. This is why we cannot have nice things.

62 points from the Sacramento bench!!

Too bad to waste McD's best game as a Wolve.

Imagine Towns in a playoff setting. That man would crumble from the start

Monk hits a 3, Karl misses a 3, Monk hits another 3. This was the moment we lost.

39 from one guy. I didn’t know Monks were allowed to abuse Wolves, but I guess you learn something every day.

Kat throwing the ball out of bounds across court is still hard for me to believe. Really cost us. Just way too many mistakes down the stretch and missed shots late.

Kat throwing the ball over Reid's head on a long cross court pass was inexcusable. That's where I became worried.

Karl was somewhere between awful and complete trash overall tonight. That said, Mike and Rudy both missed clutch free throws. Either one goes in and we celebrate the win.

No need to image.

Brian here. The doom and Gloom network is on site (as in I watched the game) and things are not looking good. The Timberwolves barely pulled out a loss tonight against the Sacramento Kings of ….. Sacramento. After spotting the Kings an early lead, the Timberwolves fell apart in the second half when there water turner offer left to witness … water breaking. The other #1 overall pick of the Timberwolves was in peak playoff form and as such the team was left to rely on Naz Reid and Jaden Mcdaniels. Unfortunately the team could not capitalize on the “early” exit of Sabonis and the complete game absence of Fox. If only the team could learn to notice when a player is overwhelmed and over matched and calm them down. Regardless the team still hold a tie for first place on the western conference. A mighty feat considering preseason most fans would be happy with a top 4 finish. Should Anthony Edwards continue to have babies he decides he wants to have, hopefully he can space them far enough apart that he can no longer miss any more games until next season. Until then, this is Brian signing off from The Doom and Gloom Network.

Interesting you should say that. But I was sober at the time. But now I’m drunk…. Thanks to the loss.
