The other bummer about all of this. Now instead of enjoying this great season and having fun getting hyped about the playoffs and feeling good. We have to hear about how terrible we look against the Suns and how badly we are going to choke and flop. Its going to be all doom and gloom, no hype, a bunch of negativity and bad feelings. We should be jumping for joy and super pumped about an amazing season and getting a top seed and likely beating a bottom seeded time but nope, its going to be dread and doom. Damn man, always some crap LMAO!

KAT??

KAT gets some grace for today since he’s coming back from knee surgery. But if we lose in the first round, I have no doubt he’s gone this offseason. Probably for a much lesser return than people have speculated on this forum.

He's coming back from knee surgery, but the errors are still all mental, the same dumb mental mistakes he's been making for 9 years.
If he craps the bed in yet another playoff series I don't know how on earth you can bring him back next year.

Hopefully a week off helps get some guys much needed rest, and gives the coaches time to find something that works vs the Suns. Absolute nightmare scenario, because of course.

Yep that's why how many regular season wins you get, whatever seed, it doesn't matter.
All that matters is getting into the playoffs, then records are reset to zero and the season starts all over.
Would be same story if we were 1 or 2 and playing Lakers or Pelicans, with slightly less gloom.

We are not a consistent or mentally tough team and that's why it's so difficult to have confidence and hope.
We beat ourselves far too often and that is the scary part of following this team.

Kat will underwhelm in the playoffs.

Agree Finch needs to make a major change. No Kyle. Hard run of Monte Morris. Maybe jmac as a sg, f it, put garza out there, see if miller is ice...anything..WHAT WE ARE DOING WILL LOSE, NO MATTER WHAT. we f'ed up at the trade deadline by not getting a 3pt shooter.

Well worse case scenario. You have to play suns round 1, beat them you have to beat Denver in Denver, then possibly okc in okc

Monte Morris has been a 44% 3-point shooter in a Timberwolves uniform

I would like to see 35 minutes of NAW just for the defensive energy.
Jaden and Kyle have just been so damn awful.

Anthony Edwards had 7 FGA and 5 turnovers.
KAT had 8 FGA and 5 turnovers.

Finch your offense is effing broken.
Run some damn plays.

Black cloud on this franchise..

If this is code for Glen, 5-4 since he took the team off the market. 1-2 after his latest statement, only beating Atlanta by 3 points.

It's easy to think the players shouldn't be affected by the noise, but at the end of the day it's their paychecks and livelihood that's potentially at stake with these reports.

The most interesting thing about the season is the dichotomy between COTY Finch and needs to be fired Finch. Both men exist at the same time and they occupy the same space. If we lose in the first round I believe he gets fired. His stubborn refusal to make changes to his lineups and his schemes have led us to the brink of wasting our best season. Now he must get together with the other coaches and become an expert on the Suns. Then 3 days from now, he needs to teach these guys how to beat the Suns offense and defense. This is looking really bad, and it starts and ends with Finch.

Livelihood? These kids could care less. No way this has any influence whatsoever.

I want to see them deploy the "Big 3" lineup for some small stretches.

We are -40 in three 1st quarters against Phoenix this year. Fix that and we give ourselves a chance..
