Villanueva is rumored to possibly be traded in a package but would take a lot more than that to get Mayo.

I don't see what Milwaukee has that could fetch #3 other than a package of two of #8, Bogut, and Yi. Charlie V does nothing on this team that Gomes doesn't do, and Gomes plays better defense and will (most probably) ultimately be cheaper. Redd isn't the right fit for this team. Nor is Mo Williams, who is also terribly overpaid.

Doubt Bucks fans will love to sell the farm to move up 5 spots.

If they aren't including bogut then I don't see the bucks as good trade partners.

Bogut+rights to Ersan IIysova for 3rd pick sounds good to me.

No way i deal with Milwaukee if their #8 pick is not involved. Villaneuva doesnt' cut it either.

For MIN to listen, talks about the #3 start with Bogut, not "no-defense" Charlie Villanueva and the #8.

If the other part is true, Randolph for Redd (and i'd imagine, the #6), would we consider

#3 for #6 + #8?

That actually makes some sense.

Bogut+8 or 6+8 are the only interesting deals.

I'd listen to Bogut and #6 for #3. #6 and #8 interest me as well. I wouldn't do a deal for CV, but at the same time if he was included to make the salaries work (especially if we're trying to get rid of Jaric in the deal), I wouldn't have a big issue with him as he'd be a back up PF and does have some ability.

Redd has piqued the curiosity of a bunch of teams, including the New York Knicks and Los Angeles Clippers.

It’s no secret the Timberwolves are receptive to moving back and acquiring another player, especially considering they have so many holes to plug.

I think its no coincidence that the talk of Redd going to NYK and LAC are the #6 and #7 picks, and might lend more evidence to the idea of trasing Mayo for #6+8, or #7+8.

I like Villanueva, but I would only consider this if we were locked into drafting Love or Galinari. I would still rather try to get our pick back from LAC. If we could get Bogut or the #6 in combination I would definitely do that, but I don't think Milwaukee would consider it. I agree that Villanueva is a lot like Gomes, but he is 4 inches taller.

#6 + #8 seems too good for us. I think we'd also have to give up the Miami pick.

#7 + our pick back seems more realistic.

#8 + Bogut for #3 also seems way too good for us. I think we'd need to add the Miami pick here too.

The Bucks new GM has said he wants to upgrade at the 3. Seems the best place in the draft to do that would be to stay put and take Alexander or Gallinari- if he's there.

Gallinari is a crybaby that only wants to play in New Jersey or New York...I hope he gets some huge swinging elbows/shoulders in the mug from guys like Dwight Howard, Big Al, Amare, Shaq, etc...Joe Alexander or Anthony Randolph would be the way to go to upgrade at 3. If they really want to, they could take Donte Greene as well, but that might be a little early for him.

Yeah one of these ideas where we get two top-ten picks back for #3 is really the only thing that interests me. Otherwise I say we take Mayo.

Take this for what it is worth, understanding....

1.) Millions of rumors right now, each team has 5-10 scenarios on the table.
2.) I do not have the time, energy, or desire to prove anything. In the past I give away some stuff I hear, but I do not care to justify stuff. I think I have enough credibility here to post stuff. As a fan I love information.

A birdy txt me that the mil rumor is this.

a.) If Mayo is drafted by Miami and we have Beasley on the board.
Then
We ship #3(beas)+filler for #8 and Bogut.

The reasoning is they feel Yi and Beasley would compliment each other very well. The interesting thing I hear is that we do not want Beasley. We do not feel he fits Al well and his character is a concern. I know I have been on/off B-easy all year, but this is what I hear right now.

Take it for what it is worth.

Mayo at #2 has got to be just talk. It'd be shocking.

I don't think Mayo at #2 is that shocking. My theory in the draft is that scout's first impressions usually stick in the long run. Ovb it changes a lil, but thats why I think Jordan will go so high and that's why Mayo could easily go #2.

Now I have reason to hope we don't get Mayo. Bogut + 8 is pretty sweet sounding. The question I wonder is, if we have possible options at 1,2,3,4 and 5. Then who do we draft? BPA?, Insurance policy on the weakest link?...That's a very intriguing trade.

Rev, did you hear anything on what would be the filler on our side? Maybe we could give them Jaric as the filler

I think the #8 would have to be involved but who would be left at #8? At this point it may seem like quality over quantity is the better option.
