You guys are way, way, way, way too held up about the 2nd round. That's like 10% of the draft. The first 90% of the draft? Taking Mayo and keeping him? Pure gold. Best possible result. Eff the 2nd, who cares. They probably passed on DAJ because of character, and Hardin will probably be out of the league in 4 years.

Heat-Timberwolves
Miami gets:
Rights to 34th pick (Mario Chalmers) Minnesota gets:
Rights to 52nd pick (Darnell Jackson), a future second-round pick and cash considerations

The deal: Minnesota picked Kansas guard Mario Chalmers with the 34th pick, but a league source told ESPN.com's Chad Ford he will be sent to the Heat for cash, Miami's second-round pick this year (52nd) and a future second-round pick. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/draft2008 ... id=3460866

Adam Silver just made an announcement. You got two future seconds, not the 52nd. ESPN was wrong.
