I agree. McCants is one of our best offensive players and he still has potential to become better. The only things that kept him off the court and being more productive were the fouls and the maturity/decision making. Once he figures out that to become a better player you need to grow up and also lessen fouls, then he will be very valuable to us.

Going after Livingston might be cheaper than resigning Telfair. He could be able to ease himself back into the game playing back up pg.

I think if the knee was anywhere near ready, LAC would've tendered than QO.

Possible Free Agent Point Guards

Sam`Cassell
Eddie House
Earl Boykins
Chris Duhon
Delonte West
Jose Barea
Tyronn Lue
Anthony Carter
Juan Dixon
Lindsey Hunter
Flip Murray
Dan Dickau
Shaun Livingston
Smush Parker
Sasha Vujacic
JC Navarro
Chris Quinn
Jason Williams
Royal Ivey
Darrell Armstrong
Jannero Pargo
Carlos Arroyo
Keyon Dooling
Kevin Ollie
Louis Williams
Anthony Johnson
Beno Udrih
Damon Stoudamire
Jose Calderon
Gilbert Arenas

Obviously, some of these are way out of our asking price and others aren't true point guards, but I think we have a pretty good selection to choose from.

Jose Barea is a pretty good PG.

I'd like Lindsey Hunter or Dooling.

Delonte West and Gomes would be great coming off the bench with Foye/Brewer/Miller starting.

West will surely be resigned by the Cavs.
