Artest to Houston for Bobby Jackson, 1st rounder, and an unnamed player (Donte Greene?)

Houston could be a serious force if TMac and Yao are healthy (but since when has that ever happened). Adding Brent Barry this off season should not be underrated for the Rox, either.

That deal is huge. Artest is a beast. He can get you 30 and shut your butt down. That's crazy.

he can also sabotage your team with (Please Use More Appropriate Word) shot selection on the court and general retardedness off the court

hopefully for Rafer Alstons sake (man hes such a great guy) things work out and Houston can enjoy some success

Ron Artest seemingly had no problems at Sac. I think his youth days (Chicago) as well as the brawl kinda paint a bad picture. Not to say he is a great guy, he is a loon, but I really dont think he is the cancer he is made out to be.

Great addition for the Rockets IMO

My first thought was laughter at all the Kings fans that swore that Kenny Thomas' awful contract would HAVE to be included in any Artest deal, with them recieving no less than 2 first round picks, exp and youth.

looks like T mac finally gonna lose his second round playoff virginity~~

unless Artest got involved in a major brawl again..........

this guy has good defense, above avg offense, and horrendous locker room impact, but the rockets wanna win now and they'd do the gamble and hope to be this year's Celtics by creating their own "AMY" big three (Artest, McGrady, Yao)

but i predict they are stil not quite there for championsheep just yet

and the wolves will almost definitely finish at least better than 2 teams now being OKC and Sacramento.........my prediction is the wolves go make the playoff and win the championship, and yes i have the freedom to dream

I think the whole Artest Locker room nuke crap is overblown.

I don't think this championship talk is warranted.

The national media exhibited its continued anti-Minnesota bias by not even once mentioning how this was going to affect the 2nd round pick HOU owes us. I blame Bill O'Reilly.

They have three players who can guard the opposing teams best wing player.

Great move for Houston. They still could use upgrades at PG and PF, but they're tough at the wing.

I think this was probably the best Sacto could get and it's not necessarily terrible if Greene can be a decent player.

Ron Artest won't do that for Rick Adelman besides the Rockets have a stronger support system for Yao in Houston.
