but do you want anybody to be shooting threes with a defender in his face? Purpose is as a defender you have to stay with a good 3 point shooter so that they don't shoot threes, thats what spreads the floor. If you double or roam, then they hit 3. All good 3 point shooters take their threes on open threes and late closeouts, if they're shooting threes with hands in their faces then they probably aren't hitting 40%.

Granted, Bruce Bowen's 3 point prowess mainly comes from the corners and percentages aside, he's no Reggie Miller working off screens for threes, but however he does it, it gets done. If his man goes to double Duncan, he gets 3 points.

Scottie Pippen was a consistantly horrible three point shooter his whole career. If Corey can't find his shot this year, he should reevaluate; he can be successful without being a three point shooter so long as he doesn't take threes.

Scottie Pippen handles the ball like a PG and can run offense, Corey has a tough time with a simple sprint dribble
