Kevin Love Predictions

Post#1 » by The Big Dog » Sun Oct 26, 2008 8:02 pm

He's had some interesting preseason stats. Do you guys predict him starting at any point in the season? What are your predictions for stats?

Here are his lines over the course of pre season:

Bucks: 13/5/ ... 6-10 shooting .. 1-2 3-pointers In 22:50 minutes

Thunder: 10/5 ... 3-8 shooting .. 1-2 3-pointers In 27:38

Nuggets As a starter: 9/11/1/5 TO .. 4-9 shooting In 25:10

Bulls: 10/8/1/1 steal .. 5-8 shooting In 19:11

Raptors: 3/3/1 steal .. 1-3 shooting In 17:75

Nuggets HORRIBLE GAME: 5/1/6 Fouls in 11:05

Bulls Another horrible game: 4/5 on 1-10 shooting

Bucks: 14/10/1/1steal on 4-6 shoointg .. 1-2 3pt In 21:36

Pre Season Averages: 8.5/6.0/.8 on 45%FG 30%3PT 86%FT in 21.3 minutes

I predict his stats will be around there, maybe 1.5 more points and 1 more rebound which is about 10/7/1.

10 points, 7 rebounds and 1 assist is my prediction

I think he'll average around 3 assists per game.

I see Love averaging 12.6 PPG, 5.9 RPG, and 1.5 APG

I think at the beginning of the season he will start slow but will improve as the season goes along. I don't think he will be a regular starter any time soon.

In an epic battle to the end he'll out pace Shaq and Fatoine and lead the league in KKPG, Krispy Kreme's Per Game.

In fact, I think that's a potential marketing tool right there.

At the end of the game there could be the Krispy Kreme Lay-Up of the Game, which will go to the best lay-up by Kevin Love that night.

13ppg/8rpg/3apg

The kid is REALLY smart. He won't bowl over anyone with athleticism, so he needs to be given time to analyze and adjust. The SECOND year will be his breakout year.

ps,,,,about Mayo. ONE THING no one ever brings up as they drool over his "potential" is that Mayo is TWO YEARS older than the rest of his class(or at least Kluv)!!! At that age, 2 yrs is HUGE.

depends on how fast he can get in shape. Lose the weight, get some strength. Also, how bad the zebra's pick on him. last year it was clear that the zebras did not like the rhino.

I don't think zebras and rhinos typically get along very well. Good point, though. Being a rookie on a bad team in a small market, Love will likely have to work extra hard to earn the refs' respect. I think his rookie numbers may be closer to 10/5 because of the ref factor, the conditioning factor, and the learning curve.

I actually would lean more for 9-7 then 10-5 only because I think his rebounding will transition easier than his scoring right now. In the long run he will be fine with both, but it will take a while.

I am guessing a 10-7-4 season for him this year just because he will be givin the ball quite abit along with miller and big al because he has so much potential and was our 1st round pick.

Mark me down for 9.0/7.5/2.5, with less than 1 bpg.
