The Suns, which have dangled Stoudemire for some time, fiound a suitor in Minnesota that is in transition. The team announced today that coach Kevin McHale has ended his 15-year association with the team. New basketball of operations David Kahn is looking to take the franchise into another direction.

And we're going to trade Love for Rubio and try to recreate the Failed Suns Project?

I'm done with the wolves if this goes down. I'll become a clippers fan.

I don't buy that for a second. Jefferson has just been locked into a very reasonable deal, and we have a lot of flexibility with the #6. That's a colossal amount to give up for a probable rental of Amare.

Amare is a very good player, and at one point could have been on the verge of being considered a top 5 player in the league. With that said, he seems to have a prima donna attitude which does not help our young team in the slightest.

If this happens I'm done with the team until Kahn is gone. Even w/o the contract stuff I don't think I'd trade AJ straight up for Amare because of Amare's penchant for being a problem child. Then you factor in the fact AJ is locked into a reasonable contract for many years while Amare can opt out and leave after this season, no chance I'd trade AJ straight up for Amare. And we're supposed to be throwing in the #6 too? Yep, I'd be done with Kahn.

Hey, I thought the #6 pick was gone in the Love trade. there is lots of this hype now, and it will just heat up till draft.

Wow. I don't do Jefferson for Amare straight up, not with his crappy attitude, contract demands(assuming he'd even re-sign here), and injury history. And throw in the 6th pick? What a kick in the stomach that would be.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

So your team has a Anthony Randolph/Al Jefferson frontline? Not bad.

LOL Jefferson is a better player plus we have to throw in the #6? Give me a fricken break Phoenix fans...get over yourself. There's a reason you guys have been trying to trade Amare lately, and it's because he's just not that great. Amare is 26, Jefferson is 24.

What scares me is this isn't Suns' fans coming up with this, it's a Boston Globe reporter who was told this is a deal we're working on. I still think he's full of crap but I'm a little frightened.

The optimist in me hopes this is Kahn's way of diverting attention from his true goal of trying to trade up. Maybe if the Kings don't think anyone's going to try and trade up for Rubio, they won't attempt to trade up and will just sit tight and hope he slides to their pick.

Al and #6 for Amare? WTF. Always been luke warm on Amare, but I will tell you this ... Amare and Love would be great with the Rube. Odviously, we don't have the tools to acquire both.

Rubio/Miller/Brewer/Love/Amare ... Nice !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if you live in a bubble.

I'd take Jefferson, but I can see how some might say Amare. But let's not forget Jefferson has a way better contract, is only 24, and we're giving the 6th pick.
