Let the games begin. Game 1 minutes away from starting. I don't know what to expect I've never got to enjoy a 2nd round as a Coyotes fan. :)

Nashville scored on a lucky bounce to tied @ 1. Yotes come back to score early in 2nd period to take a 2-1 lead.

I love you BOadker. You sexy beast. Yotes lead 3-2 with about 2 min remaining in 2nd period.

That was an awesome OT. Even though Whitney scored it seems like Nashville has more offensive firepower. Smith might be the best Goaltender in the league.

Both teams were tied 17-17 shots on goal after two periods. Then in 3rd period Nashville out scored us 16-1. But Yotes still found a way to win in overtime like they usually do.

Before this series experts bredicted a boring series with not many goals cuz of two strong goaltenders. But that wasn't the case in game 1.

How did LA beat Vancouver? Did the Canucks have players hurt or something?

From what I saw, the Kings goalie was incredible and Canucks had trouble putting goals in the net. Plus Kings figured out how to score because in regular season they were like in 5 buttom teams in scoring which impresses me how they just turned it up in the playoffs.

Hockey is strange like that... Btw who is considered our most talented player (besides Smith)? Whitney leads the team in points but i'm not believing a 40 year old is our most talented player...

Shots on goal has been a concern for us after the 3rd game of first round. Tonight both teams tied 17-17 shots on goal and in 3rd period they outshot us 16-1 and forced overtime. Something needs to be done. If it wasn't for Smith playing like dominik hasek we wouldn't got out of first round. Coyotes need speed and that something they lacking in the playoffs but somehow finding ways to win.

Whitney has talent even though he's almost 40 but also has experience in playoffs which helps a lot. Another player with experience is RAffi TOrre's but unfortunately he's suspended for 20+ games. Doan also with experience and is our captain and leader. We got a bunch of young guys that perform well and do you never know which player will shine on any given night. Oliver Ekmen Larson had impressed me in the playoffs and he' is fairly young. also BOadker has been amazing for us. we don't have those kind of players that can get past two defenders and score but we have a good team that plays together as a unit and feed off of that. And finally, how can you forget what Mike Smith has done for this team. He was backup goalie last year then comes here because Bryz left for bigger contract.Smith didn't start off that great but our coach believed in him and Smith delivered when it mattered most and it's paying off.
