Elimination game at home for the Wings. If it's close in the 3rd period, look for the nerves to set in on Detroit.

Looks like the Canucks might push it to a game 6. Who would you guys rather play?

If you kids wanna join us on the Hawks board for discussion during the series, feel free. It's not like we hate each other...yet...

Hawks won the regular season series. Should be a tough playoff matchup.

Wow, top four seeds in the east are down. Winner of the Blackhawks/Sharks series will very likely be the champions come June.

I felt the Sharks were generally the better team today, but Niemi was incredible. Except for the pass to Demers, Marleau was not there, unsurprisingly. If he can get it together and play well, the Sharks will have a good chance of coming back in this series. Hopefully Niemi doesn't stay this hot throughout.

well, that sucked. shades of the ducks series, getting forechecked out of the puck, even from behind our own net, plus losing every neutral zone battle.

Well it was fun while it lasted, but we won't get anywhere with a goalie like ours.

The refs really screwed the Sharks this game. Called touch fouls on them (led to the winning goal) and they could get a call at all that last period while Hawks were grabbing, pulling and tripping the whole period. Hawks were definitely a better team but I think it's wrong for the refs to do that to a team in an elimination game.

Nabokov was sensational and kept them in the game but Sharks defense couldn't keep the Hawks players out of the crease all series long. Marleau was the only Shark that really came to play this series. Hope people stop railing on him from now on. Too bad he's going somewhere else next season.

We lost to the better team, but it still stings so much.

Nabakov is gone, but I think Patty will stay. He played well this series, as did Thornton. Heatley was not good, and Pavelski was shut down completely, which probably is the reason we were swept.
