Wow what a blatant trip by Nashville, no call... Marleau gets hosed.

Nabby was the player of the game hands down in my opinion. Always great to win game one, especially on the road. Sharks now have home ice advantage.

Would have liked to see them stay aggressive in the 3rd with the 2 goal lead. But, a win is a win.

i never knew Sharks had a forum to post in. :-?

Any ways great game thought it was going to 3 OT like last year. But good win.
Only if we had the Inforcer Scott parker to start another brawl like last year.Memories

Why did they trade him for a 7th round pick? Was it to make room for a roster spot

Sounds like Cheechoo is definitely out for game 2. He's listed as day-to-day with a knee sprain. Hopefully he'll suit up when they return home.

Kind of sad that Nashville has to play dirty. Oh well, Karma is a bitch.

WHen did Nashville play dirty? That hit on Cheechoo wasn't intentional. Hartnell went to check Cheechoo, he moved out of the way of the check, and unfortunely, Hartnell hit Cheechoos knee.

Radoluv isn't a dirty player. I'm sure his intent wasn't to hurt Bernier. If anyone is dirty, it is Clowe for going after Hartnell.

I know what you're thinking. We're in the middle of a city, what's a hawk doing there?

Well we got outplayed in our own zone today, but at least we can feel pretty good about not letting them enjoy their victory that much.

On to the Tank... I've got my tickets for game 4 :D

So the elbow to the mouth that knocked out a tooth was an accident?

One good thing about the loss is there will definately be a game 5 now and I'll be there. It's fun going to the visitor's home. Everyone just gives you dirty looks.

NHL has rescinded its game misconducts on Hartnell.... now looks like he will play in Game 3 after all. Oh well...

I expect it to be nuts in the Tank. There's just bad blood everywhere...

Vegas gives 1:1 odds that Mike Grier gets in a fight :D

Now even Wilson and Trotz are smack talking...

This is hockey at its finest... everyone hating the other, a smashmouth game where the bigger badder dog in the fight is the one who limps away the winner.

Nothing Nabokov could do about that one.

Nashville better hurry, they don't have much time left to get their game misconduct penalty.

Return to San Jose Sharks
