Sure, I can see why they would think that either A...he is a name on a cheap contract keep him. Or, deal him with Marion as expiring contracts at the trade deadline for a much bigger piece.
I don't think they are attached to VC or anything, but he's a good backup on a cheap contract, why give that up for a trade built around Reggie Evans?

I don't know about Morrow and how his game would translate to europe, but many good NBA players can't even play for averge teams, while some NBA scrubs are stars in europe. Neither you can judge wich europian player can play in NBA by stats. There are no mathematic rules and laws wich can tell you what player can play in NBA or Europe.
Only what evryone can do is watching somebody play and use imagination trying figure out what can and can't someone do in difrent level
