I've watched several Net games this year and you guys got to get rid of JJ. What makes him so special to make him a max player? That dude is an overpaid scrub. Lopez plays clueless most of the time. He needs to play with more heart. At times I feel he plays out of position and the offense is not utilising his talent. He's also too soft on defense. Net's brass should get on the horn to shake up the roster and possible obtain Cousins.

But what's the hold up? If you're not over this gurl... Have you talked to her at all? Or is she / you in another relationship?

I'm in the minority but I feel both Johnson and Lopez are being used incorrectly. Johnson even when used correctly isn't going to be worth his contract (remember it was the Hawks not the Nets who gave him that contract, and as dumb as Billy King is I don't think the Nets ever viewed him as a max contract level player), but from a coaching standpoint the Nets are in complete disarray.

I completely disagree with everything you just wrote.

Ive watched every single Nets game this year ( and followed and been a fan of Nets for many years, even through 12-70) and we have most of the time misused Joe and Brook. And Joe did have a bad slump to start the season but has been getting better and better as weeks go by (sure he has had some small steps back and then few leaps forward). Lopez has been very good at what he does most of the time and even made some progress on the defensive end. He can and at times is unstoppable in the offensive end. Im eternal optimist and I really like this core of guys we got for this year and with few moves I believe we have up the sleeve, I believe we can become true contenders. And its quite absurd to suggest to blow up the team with less than 2 months into the season. A team that has not played together before.

Ive never been much of a fan of JJ and I have never thought he is deserving of this contract, but you cant hold it up against him as he didnt blackmail himself that contract, he was given that contract out of free will. But to the point, as season has progressed I have really grown to like JJ and slowly becoming a fan. A bit less post-ups and ISO-s would be nice, but that is down to coaching, but everytime he takes a shot I get a little excited as that jumper and stroke is just so sweet and even if he takes a bad shot, you know he CAN and SHOULD make it

. We will get our crap together and play like the team I get so excited to watch that for half the games I get up at 2 or 3 AM to watch, because of the time difference. Even at work days when I gotta go to work at 8 AM

Joe's production is fine. His efficiency and production is only down slightly from the last year. Keep in mind it's only 2 months into the season.

Last year Joe's numbers: 18 points, 45% shooting, 38% 3 point shooting, 55TS%, 52 eFG%, 24.9% Usage
This season his numbers: 15 points, 42% shooting, 37% 3 point shooting, 51TS%, 48 eFG%, 22% Usage

He needs to be used much better and he himself needs to take smarter shots.

Dude lol, his efficiency is DRAMATICALLY down from last year.

His efficiency was actually quite impressive last year considering how much he was iso'd and how little he was getting to the line/how many jumpers he took.

This year it's awful.

How do we get so trashed on GB? Like most people are saying we are a bad team and we got no talent? I understand that most people are Knicks fans there, but still, why be in such a denial? This team has talent and if made a few moves and right coach, this team has a legitimate chanche of contending in my opinion.

That's how the GB works. Most of them are Knicks fans, who needed 2.5 years to become anything but a mediocre team, and now are trashing the Nets after less than 30 games.
